Samsung Galaxy A23 5G SM-A236U Factory Unlocked 64GB Black (Renewed)

Bought for wife, not a Samsung fan personally, but did set it up for her. Condition was excellent, no problems there. Phone itself is very large for me, she loves it, maybe 1/2" larger than her previous Samsung. Inserted sim and sd card from her previous phone and it registered on network immediately.Have only had for two weeks but she reports no problems, battery life very good (2+ days medium usage, using fairly low talk time, mostly texts and apps).Seems like most negative reviews were about not working with a lesser known carrier. Sounds like any of the big three are fine. We always buy two plus year old unlocked phones, hope for 2-3 years usage, hopefully this will last two or more years.Will update post if any problems arise in future.

BE CAREFUL WITH AMAZON RENEWED!My bank information was transmitted the first time I accessed my mobile banking app on this renewed phone.I bought this phone after searching for a small screen. It was smaller than my previous phone and was my first Samsung (Yes, Was. I got rid of it). I was disappointed with how different Samsung everything is from Motorola. I really liked my Motorola. I set up the phone and was getting used to it. I received a check and used mobile deposit with my bank. Within 3 hours I was receiving calls about "fraudulent" charges on one of my cards. The scammers specifically mentioned this phone and asked about the name on it - I'm assuming it was the previous owners name as I bought it under Amazon Renewed. This was the first time I had used the phone with my mobile account or with any account. Luckily, I was able to get my spouse else to call the bank while still on the phone and lock everything down. After many phone calls, talking to many people, and a trip to speak with a banker in person, I think everything is secure but I'm still really wary about trusting any phone from Amazon Renewed.Yes, I ran a diagnostic on the phone - nothing showed up. Whatever was on it was hidden very well.For the phone itself - it worked fine. I'm not a Samsung fan, but was willing to give it a try. I LOVED the fingerprint sensor in the power button, which is one of the reasons I bought it. It's incredibly sensitive though.

The price is very affordable. The battery life was perfect the fingerprint works perfectly.the picture quality was awesome it works well and its was easy to charge.

I didn't want to pay the full price for this phone so I bought it at $100 off for a renewed device and I'm satisfied with that value. I'm really stoked that it looks and functions like new. I'm giving it five stars because it does the job. It's a down grade coming from an S23 that was nearly perfect phone for me. I needed an LCD display though because the S23 led display was hurting my eyes and making me feel sick. I have no issues with the display on this one. Not a fan of bigger phones like this and wish it had more RAM but it is what it is. Camera is ok. Like I said, coming from a flagship phone this one is definitely lacking, but it'll get me through until I can find a high end spec device that has a display that is easy on my eyes. I like the Samsung UI. I think it's clean and easy to use. Battery life is pretty good. Overall for the average user, I think this is a good phone, but you could probably find better for around the same price, if you don't have the limiting factor of needing an LCD display.

A big change from my Samsung 8, but doable. The Samsung customer service people were SO helpful transitioning me.Unfortunately, the only wireless charger available is extremely difficult to use. I have to use a corded charger.Weird having the on-off and voice up/down buttons on top of each other. Very awkward. And not being able to swipe screenshots is annoying. There's a downloadable icon but it has to be moved all the time so you can push other buttons.I got it because it was $125 and similar to the S8. I'm used to it now and less annoyed.
