Pleasingly Serves its Purpose
So, I really like this calendar. I almost gave it only 4-stars, but as I wrote the following review, I decided I like it enough for 5 stars.I bought it because I sing with the local symphony chorus and 2 church choirs (one of which I direct), as well as being a cantor at one of those churches, and also take voice lessons. My husband is forever feeling like I "spring" rehearsals and lessons on him. Well, I decided I needed a calendar that I could write all the information on (proof is on the board that he had plenty of time to have already seen my schedule!). So, after looking at and reading reviews for a bunch of different calendar-type things on Amazon, I went with this one. I'm glad I did. It's huge and it serves its purpose. I have it on the wall where one hallways meets another in our house, and it's impossible to not see it as you walk down the hall in the morning, or throughout the day (the placement was my 3yo's idea, and I have repeatedly thanked him for his brilliance!).The package comes with the calendar and 1 black (no name) dry-erase marker that has a little eraser on the cap, and a plastic holder with adhesive backing. This I stuck to the top of the calendar (who wants to ruin their walls with that stuff?), and it seems to be a great location to store it.I repeatedly smoothed the calendar out on the wall, then lifted it all off when I realized it wasn't straight, so at least short-term it seems to lift off the wall with no problem. To go with it, I bought this Expo Caddy + 4 Markers & Eraser: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005DEW3DU/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_11 (also pictured), which I stuck to one part of the calendar with its included double-sided tape, because (once again), who wants to stick that stuff on your wall just to scrape it off a little at a time later? ...Exactly.The only thing *NOT* great about it is that it is somewhat difficult to erase week+old markings off of it with just a whiteboard eraser. This is partly because that's just how marker boards are anyway (!), but also because it's such a thin sheet of peel-n-stick that it conforms to the texture of your wall. This means that ink gets "into" ripples and such, leaving a non-smooth surface you're trying to wipe off. A little bit of water on a paper towel goes a long way, and when that fails... well, you can lick your finger, wipe the marking with said finger, wipe with the paper towel and voila! Whiteboard spray might do the same....

Great calendar - big and durable
We love this thing. It's on our wall in our kitchen and it's perfect. It took a few tries to get it up without any bubbles, but if you have the patience you can do it--just go slow and steady working out the bubbles as you go. Dry erase markers work perfectly on it, no issues whatsoever. Corners stay stuck in place even after cleaning and it wipes clean without any residue or staining. I have a feeling we will get a lot of use out of this! We live and breathe by our calendars and having this smack dab in the middle of our kitchen keeps the whole family in check.

Love it, but the eraser is useless.
I absolutely love the size of this calendar and it’s adhesiveness. There’s more than enough room in each square to write in appointments or activities. I had an easy time applying it to my wall too.My only gripe is that the eraser that comes with it is completely useless. When I tried to erase everything at the end of the month, nothing erased. I even tried it with Expo markers and those wouldn’t erase either. However, hope isn’t lost because those Lysol or Clorox wipes will totally erase the calendar at the end of the month. If it wasn’t for the eraser issue, I would have given 5 stars.

Great for keeping the family organized
I purchased this calendar to help keep my family organized about events planned. This calendar is great! First of all, it is big (so if you are looking for something subtle, this is not it). Because of the size is it is easy to write multiple events on for a single day. It also makes it very easy to read.Cleaning has not been a problem for me. I clean my calendar with spray on dry erase board cleaner and a paper towel. It cleans easily and well. The calendar has days of the week listed, and spots for you to write in the month and the dates of each month. I use a different color to write down events for each person in the family. It makes it easy for me to keep track of what is going on and my kids really like being able to see what they have upcoming or add events themselves. Other parents who see the calendar typically ask me where to get one. Finally, the wall that I have this attached so is a textured wall. It has stayed on really well and the texture does not impede the writing surface.I recommend this calendar for teachers, parents, or anyone who like to have a good visual to stay organized.
