Q: Is there a big difference between peet's major dickinson dark roast and peet's french roast dark roast?

Not a huge difference, but to me the Major Dickason's tastes stronger and more robust, whereas the French Roast tastes more mild and smooth with a hint of chocolate. I drink them both interchangeably. Dickason's when I want something strong, and French when I want something more mild and smooth.

Q: Have they fixed the breaking pod issue that is commented about several times in the reviews?

I’ve used Peets for many years, every day, and have NEVER had a pod break. This must be from people trying to harm the brand since it isn’t true. Either that or they’re doing something wrong with the pods.

Q: Are the coffee pods compostable and/or recyclable?

A lot of incorrect and outdated info in these answers. They are for a fact recyclable if you can recycle #5 plastic. According to the Keurig website, all of their pods manufactured since the end of 2020 are recyclable. Elsewhere they tell you to check your local recycling facility for compatibility. The site also specifies that the material is "recyclable polypropylene (#5 plastic)." This is the stuff that things like yogurt cups are made of, so if you can recycle those, you can probably recycle these. Of course, you need to peel off the foil lid and empty out the grounds (compostable!).

Q: Why did all mine come decaf? nothing says decaf on order?

check the fine print before placing order, am sure the decaf label is there somewhere
