L'Oreal Paris Makeup True Match Lumi Glotion, Natural Glow Enhancer, Illuminator Highlighter, Bronzing Drops For a Sun-Kissed Glow, 901 Fair

​I have been using the L'Oréal True Match Lumi Glotion in the shade 902 Light Glow for a while now. If you are looking for that subtly glowing, radiant finish, this product is an extraordinary alternative that proves you don't always have to overspend to get excellent results. L'Oréal recommends choosing the lightest shade to illuminate. This product is incredibly versatile. You can apply it only to specific areas like the cheeks or the the nose as a liquid highlighter, or you can mix it directly with your foundation. For my technique, I apply it all over my face as an illuminating primer, and then I put my foundation right on top. As a result, it adds immediate luminosity to those foundations that aren't very glowy or tend to look a bit dry. It leaves a radiant but extremely light, fine, and elegant finish. As shown in the video I published, the effect is very soft and almost imperceptible in terms of heavy textures, but it definitely gives back vitality and light to the skin. To be honest, this product is perfect to me and I haven't even bothered to look for any other highlighter or lotion on the market. It has a spectacular price for the quality it offers. When it comes to makeup, I prefer to invest in other much more expensive products where high-end brands can actually have a true competitive advantage in complex formulas or finishes. But in this category of subtle light enhancers, this one fulfills its purpose flawlessly without needing to spend a fortune. One detail to mention is that it has a slightly floral fragrance. It is not the kind of scent I love most in a cosmetic product, but it doesn't bother me at all. Once the product is applied and settles on the face, the smell completely goes away and you don't feel it anymore.

This Lumi Glotion in the lightest Fair shade is fabulous for my 66 year old skin. For reference, I'm a very pale, freckled strawberry blonde with skin that is normal to dry. I just received it yesterday. I used it when I first got it, and loved the fresh, "lit from within" glowy look of my skin with nothing else on top of the Lumi. It definitely has a blurring effect on my natural fine lines and deeper wrinkles. It went on very smoothly and did NOT settle into those and leave creases or patchiness. Today I used it again after applying (in this order) The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10%, followed by Timeless 20% Vitamin C serum, then Olay Regenerist Serum. I allowed a minute or so of dry-down time between each product. The Lumi Glotion went over the top of those products very smoothly, and once again had a very pleasing blurring effect. After a minute or so I followed that with my usual Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue Foundation in shade 2C3 Fresco. There was no pilling whatsoever, and the finish was gorgeous. I followed that with a liquid blush and a very light loose powder to set it. I kept the glow all day, and I'm beyond pleased. Next time I may skip the setting powder to see how it goes without it. The glotion worked so well as a primer for the foundation. Have no fear, there are no sparkles in this Lumi Glotion - just a lovely, youthful radiance. I hate it that I'm so late to this Lumi Glotion party! I highly recommend it!

I really love the L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion. It gives a beautiful, radiant and elegant glow that looks very natural on the skin. The packaging is also practical and easy to use. However, I would recommend it more as a glow enhancer than a foundation, since it doesn’t provide much coverage. It’s perfect for a luminous, healthy-looking finish rather than full coverage makeup.

Mrs K here. With all of the hype around this product I assumed it was nice, but tried it with measured expectations nevertheless. It's better than I thought it would be, and turns out it's going in permanent rotation. I've tried it under foundation and BB cream, and it gives my skin that "lit from within" quality that matters more and more as I get older. My over 50 skin can look dull, despite the care I take in keeping my skincare routine on point. It's odorless; it doesn't clog my pores or irritate my skin; it doesn't pill under makeup; in the afternoon I like to put a little on my cheekbones over makeup, to refresh my skin, and it just looks like I'm lit by candlelight. It isn't greasy, and I really appreciate the balance they achieved at L'Oreal with this: it glows but isn't glittery or too young, though in my 20s I'd have loved it. It doesn't go "club" but there's enough glow that I can see that yummy highlight, and I honestly couldn't love this more. The other part I love is the price. I spend an awful lot on skincare and makeup, and while I use products spanning the drugstore counter and the luxury counters at Nordstrom, I just didn't want to spend Charlotte Tilbury money on an "extra". Honestly, I don't see the need, when this unbelievably awesome product exists. I use the "fair-light" shade and it blends seamlessly with my skin. For reference I wear "cool bone" in Estee Lauder Futurist foundation and my skin is a fair-light, cool undertone. It's very forgiving, so go with the usual range of your foundation or BB or CC products. Come summer, I think this will be great by itself, over sunscreen, and with a bit of concealer, as well, because while it doesn't have a ton of coverage, it has*just* enough to even skin tone, and the blurring and light-diffusing properties really pull their weight. It has been a while since I have been this enthusiastic in reviewing a trending product, and I hope it helps anyone who is interested and on the fence.

It gives you a nice glow. But don’t expect it o keep for 8+ hours. My face feels very greasy by the end of the day and I can’t wait to wash it. This is probably why I have a few breakouts when I don't usually. Maybe blotters would improve this? But is still one more thing to carry around.

The Lumi Glotion moisturizer is great and provides great hydration for my skin, while also giving light coverage on the days I don’t want to do heavy foundation and full makeup. For work, I have to do full makeup and it gets old and tiring. Not to mention it is so drying to my skin, especially in the winter. Wearing Lumi Glotion gives my skin a dose of hydration and feels so good. It’s lightweight and feels so refreshing on my face. The natural look works well with a bit of a glow. Just add some lipstick and mascara and you’re good to go. This is my first time using tinted moisturizer, so I don’t have anything to compare it too, but love it so far! I’ve been looking for something to use on the days I want to give my skin a break. My daughter recommended a tinted moisturizer. A beauty magazine recommended Lumi Glotion, saying it was a favorite and a big seller. Before spending a lot of money on something I wasn’t sure I would use, I decided to try L’Oréal’s Lumi Glotion moisturizer. I knew right away that I liked the product and have used it several times a week over the past 1.5 yrs. My 75 yr old mom tried it one day when we were out and she loved the way it felt and looked on her skin. So I gave her my brand new tube and ordered more for myself. Lumi Glotion It is the perfect small gift to surprise a friend or family member anytime of the year. It’s also a great stocking stuffer during the holidays. We all need to pamper ourselves a little more! L’Oréal Lumi Glotion is a must have and a great product for the price point. I will certainly be purchasing again! 🩷💅💄💋

First 2 pics all blended down, the rest as-is, no blending so you can really see the color match versus the rest. Glow lotion is furthest from my wrist: (1) On the wrist - LA Girl Pro coverage HD illuminating foundation (kinda glowy, pretty full coverage but dark & yellow for me, need to find my shade) 2) Revlon Photoready insta-filter #130 Porcelain. Good coverage, match, formula, but matte. Depends what you want that day. I did pair with this glow lotion, which also worked. 3) forget the brand, glow foundation in Fair. Too orange, dark, no glow/pearl/shimmer. 4) This Glow lotion! You can barely see it in the photos, I'm not sure if the camera really shows the glow. But the color match was amazing :) Would buy again. Actually, might be my most used product of 2025. I have pale skin and its very difficult to find a color match that is affordable and Great formula/texture. It is obviously not meant for full coverage but if you want a non-make up day or don't like foundation, this is your skin but better. Again, its pretty sheer imo and just melts into your skin. Thus far no pilling. Actually fairly hydrating in a way. Plays well with other products. I have played around with using just this product, or layering it under foundation on on top of foundation. Putting under eye to help reflect dark undereye. Or on lid for different eyeshadow base effects versus other bases or even regular foundation. Also tried using it as a subtle highlighter and with blush. I don't think it is too glowy or shimmery, it just looks nice. It somehow makes your skin and pores look better, even alone. But if you really love the matte look, maybe it's not for you? Ymmv, but it's worth trying.. I do like the photoready + glow lotion.
