Great grater - buy it!
Top rated on multiple sites, and I agree 👍. The micro-plane type grater teeth are sharp and grate well. I use the coarsest teeth for cheddar cheese all the time, a relatively hard extra-sharp Cabot cheddar, works great. Put it on nachos, put it on salad, put it on a flour tortilla and make a quesadilla, put some on a taco, yummy 😋. I use the medium teeth all the time to grate romano cheese. Works great, the grated cheese is almost fluffy (in the best way!) Put it on pasta, put it on minestrone soup, put it on salad, yummy 😋. The smallest teeth work great too. The slicer blade is sharp and is the first box grater blade that I've ever used that works worth a darn. This blade is like a fixed thickness mandoline slicer, and works great for the extra-sharp Cheddar to make CONSISTENT thin slices of cheese. The blade and the body of the grater don't bend or deflect while you are using it, and thus you get nice even consistent sliced food. The handle is comfortable. The construction is sturdy and doesn't bend when you are using it and pushing down on the food as you are grating or using the slicer blade. The size is good, not too big or too small. For use or for storage. Cleanup is easy, dishwasher safe and it comes out clean. No real nooks or crannies that trap crud. I use it held in the air to grate small(er) amounts of cheese right onto a single serving bowl or plate of food. For grating larger amounts, I will usually rest the base of the grater on a dinner plate and grate away. Tilt the grater if you want a little more hand clearance to the plate. For even larger amounts, rest the grater base on a cutting board and go to town. Again, tilt the base for hand clearance. This is a GREAT box grater. Highly recommended. Buy it!

Great grater!
Previous to this, I had a grater that had very good, sharp cutters. Unfortunately, the frame of the box grater was made of a plastic that shattered after about 3 years of use. I was really torn between whether or not to buy another of the same thing - the cutters were the best that I had ever used, but the frame was just not up to snuff. Then, I found a review on Serious Eats that gave this grater the top rating, so I decided to purchase it. Well, I'm not disappointed! The cutters work very well - they're almost scary sharp, like my last box grater. I had a wedge of Parmesan cheese handy - just a few almost effortless strokes gave me a mound of perfectly grated cheese. Clean up was a breeze - if you use a sponge, just remember to always pass it over the teeth in the opposite way than when you grate. Otherwise you'll end up with a sink full of sponge shreds. The handle is fine, and the grater itself is all metal, so it shouldn't crack and fall apart if I drop it. The only thing that I'm on the fence about is my old grater had rubber-covered steel legs that held it about an inch off the surface I was grating on. That made it easier to use the entire grating surface (including the bottom rows of cutters), and would keep the shreds I was making from building up and compacting in the box - they could flow out onto the surface I was grating on. So, I could grate a whole bunch without having to empty the box. I guess I could always just hold the grater in one hand, the block of food in the other, and grate in the air over a bowl, but that gets a bit awkward if I'm grating something large, like a big heavy block of cheese. Oh, well, just a minor niggle - other than that, this thing is exactly what I was looking for!

Excellent. The Sharpest. Use Cut Resistant Gloves!
This box grater works like a champ. It is very, very sharp. And all the sides have useful options. But I beg you to use cut-resistant gloves when you use it. I wish I had spent the eight dollars for the gloves before “the incident.“ Just one little slip while grating an onion, and the next thing I know, I’m having a consultation with a hand surgeon. I will definitely keep using and recommending this box grater, but as a set with, yep, those gloves.

Strong, versatile, and incredibly sharp grater endures heavy use. Amazing!
I purchased this grater because my roommate has one and he raves about how excellent it is. One of the biggest pluses for me is microplaner present on the grater. Having this grater means you do not need to purchase an additional microplaner! In addition, these blades are *incredibly* sharp, and have stayed that way for the over a year my roommate has had his. When I received mine, the blades were so sharp I hardly even needed to apply any pressure in order to grate what I was working with. That, and it has held up perfectly well to both heavy use and regular dishwasher cleaning. I use it to crate hard cheese, soft cheese, baking chocolate, and vegetables, and the microplaner is incredibly useful for getting zest from the peels on citrus without having large chunks of peel in the dish. I've made a lime glaze using this before, and the glaze is essentially liquid glaze with lime zest in it. Despite this, the zester on this 4-sided grater grates the peel so finely you can't even tell the texture of the lime zest is there which is perfect! On top of all of this, the vertical lines on the grater reduce the friction so stickier things like soft cheeses are much easier to grate, and the handle is very strong and has not let water or become loose. This grater is a bit pricier than other similar graters, but the durability and microplaner (which will cost more if you want to buy one anyways) more than make up for it and this grater is absolutely worth it. This is a must-have grater that will last you ages, and I am so glad I have one now for when my roommate moves out and takes his with him!

Look out turtles, the shredder is here! Hard to clean.
This shredder can cut the cheese! It is sharp and stable. If you cut yourself using this thing, it's your own fault. And if that happens, it will be a clean cut. Right down to the bone. But what do you want? A dull grater? I think not. So it does what it says on the tin. It grates/shreds stuff and does it well. Cleaning it? Hahaha. Good luck. The nature of the inside of this shape makes it very difficult to clean. You can't really fit an adult hand up in there with a sponge. Got a brush? Great! That won't fit either. At least not without a lot of effort. These Cuisipro graters/shredders are nice. I give it 4 stars because for this price it should come with a plastic guard to protect the blades from getting dinged up and dulled. How do you even store this thing without it touching something else? And what is it going to touch when you store it? Plastic? It will shred that. Wood? It will shred that too. Dishes like glass or ceramic? That material will dull the blades. It's a no-win storage situation. Can it be resharpened? Probably, yes. Should you? No. There isn't a way to de-bur the back of the blade. So any way you slice it... Ah hem, any way you slice it (waits for a laugh), you will get a bur on the back of the blade that will come off in your food. Yum! Thank you. I'll be here all week.

Excellent grater!
EXCELLENT grater. Very sharp, easy to clean, no signs of rust. Handle is just right to grip and nice having a base to catch grated cheese.

Versatile and Durable Kitchen Essential!
The Cuisipro Stainless Steel 4-Sided Box Grater has been a fantastic addition to my kitchen prep tools! This grater handles everything I throw at it—even soft fruits—with ease. The four distinct grating sides (fine, medium, coarse, and slicer) make it incredibly versatile, whether I'm shredding cheese for tacos, slicing veggies for a stir-fry, or zesting citrus for desserts. The ergonomic handle offers a solid grip, making grating comfortable even for larger tasks, and the stainless steel construction feels robust and built to last. I appreciate how sharp and precise the blades are, delivering consistent results without jamming or clogging. Plus, it’s dishwasher safe, which makes cleanup a total breeze. This grater is both practical and stylish, fitting perfectly into my kitchen routine. If you’re looking for a reliable, multi-purpose grater that tackles cheese, veggies, and more, the Cuisipro is a top-notch choice. Highly recommend!

Sharp, Stylish, functional
Is it a bit pricey yes, but this grater amazes me, Finley zests, grates, slices and I love that the black attachment at the bottom catches everything so I can slowly remove contents. Seriously a breeze to use and very sharp. I recommend it. I actually now have fun using a grater that works very well and couldn't go without.

Super sharp with reasonable size of the blade areas
Best grinder I have ever owned. Two years in servis and still sharp. We use it almost daily. Definitely worth the price.

Klare Empfehlung.
