Screen Replacement for MacBook Air M1 2020 A2337 EMC 3598 Retina Full LCD Display Assembly 13.3" 2560x1600 (Space Gray)

I recently purchased this screen replacement for my MacBook Air M1 2020 (A2337 EMC 3598) in Space Gray, and I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase. Week after putting it on the screen started breaking from the side, but it was still working. 9months later quality went down and now 1 year later the screen completely stopped working. Not worth the price if you look for a permanent fix.

Decent quality, though not Apple quality. Easy to install, comes with all the tools you need. Well packaged, insstructions and notes included. This replacement isn't for the faint of heart, but if you're comfortable with basic electronics repair and can follow an iFixIt article then this is pretty straightfoward.

Was very skeptical at first with the reviews but i just finished installing after following the instructions on a YouTube vid n i have no complaints. Camera works, graphic is good (some persons say the camera or screen dont work but theres a bracket to hold down the cables, this didnt have the bracket but i simply took it off the old screen and placed it on the new as instructed in the YouTube vid, so perhaps they were disconnected in the process) but everything came out great. I ordered toolkit incase it didnt have the screwdrivers but it came with a toolkit set n all..

Bought this in April, it’s now July it’s been working great for 3 months now. The screen replacement was pretty straightforward and took about 30 minutes for a first timer. Totally recommend.

Screen works and looks nice, however it is noticeably lower quality than the original screen. Instead of glass covering over the LCD and webcam, it appears to use a thin plastic that flexes very easily, and worries me about the overall durability. The screen shipped without all the metal brackets that secure the connectors from the LCD to the LCD daughter board with screws. I was able to take these off the original daughter board and put them on this one but it is something to be aware of when you are replacing the screen. The screen is definitely dimmer than the original (I'd guess around 200 nits), but still pretty usable. Although a curiosity I noticed is that the screen seems to have a shielding problem as my cell phones transmission would cause corrupted lines to appear on the screen when it was transmitting while resting on the screen.

Screen didn't work so they sent a replacement. Although I initially ordered it next day, the replacement took a couple days. I also had to pay for return shipping to be picked up from my place. Well, the replacement is done and laptop works. They sent a silver instead of space grey in the second, but it still works fine. I just don't have the time to exchange yet again.

Works as it should

At less than 3 years old the 2020 MacBook air screen just stopped working. This shouldn't happen. It would seem to be an indication of a lower quality Apple product. Replacement screen is great. Cosmetically perfect, easy enough to install and works like the original.
