RXBAR Protein Bars, 12g Protein, Gluten Free Snacks, Strawberry, 22oz Box (12 Bars)

This review is for the strawberry variety of RX Bar. As I began to cook my own food from scratch more often, I found that I can no longer tolerate synthetic or poor quality foods. These RX Bars, when I can afford them, are a godsend for quick high protein meals on the go. Just pair it with a ready-to-drink protein shake and you're ready for the road. The quality of the ingredients range anywhere from good to excellent and the flavor is great. I would not recommend them for anyone with braces or dentures or anything because they are VERY chewy, have large pieces of almond or even whole almonds in them, and are rather sticky due to the dates and egg whites that act as sweeteners, binders, and protein sources. I appreciate the simple list of natural and wholesome ingredients, and I needn't worry about food sensitivities and adverse reactions to preservatives and fillers, plus they are a great source of fiber. Obviously they are not an option for anyone with tree nut allergies, but they are gluten-free, grain-free, and vegan. Probably not the best option for someone on a ketogenic diet, but they should work for paleolithic and whole foods diets, and I suppose even a justification for inclusion in a raw food diet could be made.

Love these! High protein and high fiber without added sugars except from the dates as far as the ingredient list goes The variety of flavors is good but was surprised that the chocolate sea salt tasted awful. All the others taste great! My favorite is the strawberry 🍓 but coconut chocolate 🍫 is amazing too. The ingredients are simple and I don’t worry about hidden ingredients I’m eating. They are very, very sticky! A good healthy snack. Like a healthy candy experience & the price is worth what you’re getting IMO. These are a staple in my home.

These bars are so delicious and the ingredients are so clean. They have a strong strawberry flavor that comes through just enough to balance well with the nutty flavor from the cashews and almonds. I really enjoy that they are chewy - even though they may stick to your teeth just a little. Not a big enough problem to keep me from buying many boxes of these over the last year! The protein content is pretty decent as well. Love these RX bars.

Probably my favorite flavor!! YUM! And Ive tried them all, well almost. The blue one, blueberry is definitely #2, but both are my top pick. VERY chewy!! I like it at home but not at the gym or outside, cuause it will get stuff to your teeth.... Some people dont like to chew it that much, but I kinda do, just not outdoors... Sweet enough for its sugar, good kick and satisfies light sweet tooth. EXPENSIVE!! Pricey for a small content... I buy it mostly on good discounted deals, or if Im really craving it ..

I really like that these bars have no additives unlike many high protein bars. They are great to have as a supplement for days when you can't get all of the protein you want/need from regular meals. I like the texture but I can't say they taste great. There is somewhat of a strawberry flavor. They are rather expensive so probably best that they are not too tasty.

The strawberry is my favorite RXBAR. Delicious and perfect for a mid afternoon snack or a quick post workout snack. Can't beat the price on Amazon especially if you subscribe.

I like most of the RX bars tho a few are too sweet for me. This one is not. My favorite flavor was always mixed berry, but it is discontinued. This is similar. You have to be careful buying snack bars online because sometimes they are at or beyond their expiration date and you can never know that before buying (Hint to Amazon: why not include that in the details of the listing?!). But these aren't stale, like other protein bars I've bought online.

All natural!! Taste great!

I have tried all the RX bars and this and the one with banana in it would be my least favorite. All the RXbars are wonderful and nutritious Just prefer the other flavor especially the maple syrup.
