Good build quality, Well engineered and functional
The brushed metal finish body gives a quality well-finished and well-built look. The switching is good but the button itself is a bit wobbly. Function is as mentioned.

It works
The product works as supposed to. The casing is aluminum but there is no heat dissipation. On the packaging, it says that the manufacturer provides support etc but there is not contact information at all.As long as it works, I am happy.Used to switch between a work laptop and personal Intel NUC.

Works great with 2 PC's
Was looking for something cheap to switch between my computers on 1 screen and 1 set of wireless KB/Mouse. This didn;t have reviews, but I took the plunge. I have no regrets. Came with 2 x HDMI and 2 X USB cables. Just needed to unplug the HDMI from my PC and plug it into the KVM switch and plug in the KB/Mouse dongle. Worked straight away. There is a 5 second delay between switching screens but That would be the Monitor switching signals, not the KVM switch. The build quality is good. it's made from metal, not plastic. has 1 button on top. so simple to use. Doesn't require separate power.

Poor design
This device does what it says it will do, but I have these issues with it:1. the design is terrible because you plug the 4 laptop cables into the front, and the 3 monitor cables into the back, and the whole thing is just a mess of wires on my desktop. All the plugs should be on one side (the back) for better cable management2. the lights that tell you which laptop is "live" are nearly impossible to see. The select button is in the middle, and a tiny, tiny, tiny blue light illuminates on each side of it depending on which laptop is live3. all of the above would have been a non-issue if there had been a remote included; then the box could have been tucked away and the wires kept off my desk

Got it to work
I have 2 raspberry pi 4’s that I wanted to share 1 monitor, keyboard and mouse. I spent a couple of frustrating hours trying to get it to work before setting it aside for later. The next day, I remembered using a kvm years ago and having a problem getting it to work that kvm to work. I also remembered how I got that to work. With everything properly connected, had both computers and the monitor off. The kvm was switched to pc1. I turned on the monitor and immediately booted pc1. The monitor showed the video and both keyboard and mouse worked. I switched to pc2 and immediately booted pc2. Again, the video and both peripherals worked. Now I can switched back and firth without losing connectivity. I imagine that if I ever have a power disruption that I’ll have to go through the same startup sequence. Seems silly. With a HDMI specific kvm, I would think the kvm would be enough emulate a signal with the monitor. Oh well, annoying but not a big deal.It works and that’s sufficient for me.
