This is a great backpack
This backpack is outstanding! I have the larger version of this but when sitting in an aisle seat on most airlines it barely fits under the seat, and on some it does not. This slimed down version easily fits and is much more easy to carry. It does have less capacity but you have plenty of room for the essentials. It says it will fit up to a 14” laptop but I think that is conservative, my MacBook air fits with a ton of room and I think a 15” would fit, but would recommend checking for yourself. The quality is top notch as all Samsonite products, don’t think you can go wrong with this.

I love this backpack!
I'll cut to the chase, buy this backpack! Ok, why? I have cycled through the usual variety of backpacks, messenger bags and satchels to carry my laptop and assorted gear while traveling and I always found myself looking for something else. This tells me that what I had, what I adapted, simply wasn't right. Initially, I was looking at Tumi as an option but then I saw this pack, when I held them up side by side I began to wonder if those 4 letters (t-u-m-i) were really worth the premium price; in my opinion, compared to this pack, the answer is no. The Kombi has a premium feel to it, the woven exterior not only feels premium but also is fantastic for combating wear and the inevitable scuffs that a travel bag will endure when stuffed under the seat. The shoulder straps are well padded and comfortable and the compartments make total sense. I am able to readily carry two laptops, an iPad and the other assorted gear that I travel with securely and comfortably. I like the orange interior since it makes it easy to see everything inside the pack, no hunting for the errant black USB cable in an all black interior anymore. Further, the bag stands up on its own, even when fully loaded so that makes it easy to retrieve whatever you need and the main compartment opens up in such a way that everything remains upright. This is a backpack for someone who is looking for something that is professional, understated and still stylish. I have plenty of technical backpacks however when I travel, whether an overnight or a weeks long trip, this is the backpack I trust. My only gripe is that I wish I had known about it before. If you're looking for a travel backpack, your search is over, this is your bag!

Great size
Great backpack. The color, size and organization is very good. I travel a lot and having a travel friendly backpack is a must. This is the right size with pockets for all the necessary items.

Very well made backpack with good material and nice clean looking as business laptop bag
Very well made backpack with good material and nice clean looking as business laptop bag. Space is enough for laptop, tablet, notebook and all my accessory. I love the self standing even when bag is empty. My previous over priced brand name backpack kept falling even bag is loaded which I hated and decide to get this bag. I also liked bright color inner fabric that makes easy to find small items in pocket.

Good quality but cuts a couple small corners
I was very interested in a Tumi backpack but I just couldn’t justify $600+ for a backpack. This backpack is almost as good as the Tumi I was looking at but at 1/6th the price. Looks good in person and feels pretty durable. The brown leather is a nice accent that makes it look and feel more high end. My complaints about it are minor. My biggest beef is the fact that it doesn’t have strap keepers, but they KNEW it was an important feature because they basically have strap keepers but they’re made of paper (see my 2nd pic). At this price point it’s pretty ridiculous that I have to now buy some elastic strap keepers when most cheaper backpacks have them. Also the zipper handles don’t have a hold large enough for a TSA lock. Since I’m traveling with it, I opted to drill out the holes to make them larger on the front pocked zipper. Luckily they’re real metal so it wasn’t hard to drill. The shoulder straps feel fine but could be a little more padded. Overall I think it’s worth it and am happy with the purchase.

A backpack built like a suitcase
Great commuter backpack! Plenty of room that is well-organized for (smaller) laptop, tablet, phone, chargers and cables, and books and papers. Inside and out are the same great materials as my Samsonite luggage, and the handle and straps are equally Samsonite-tough. It holds its shape when empty. It’s light by itself. The leather trim is a nice touch.A few nitpicks, together worth -1 star:- The main compartment is a bit narrow. My over-ear headphones (when not in use) end up at the very top because it’s too much of a squeeze anywhere else.- The straps, though comfortable, are stiff and snug especially over a winter coat. They need a lot of loosening, but then they feel loose on your back.- I would have preferred pen loops and a business card slot, instead you get a couple of zippered mesh pockets for items like this.

This is a terrific commuter bag
I really like this bag. Holds laptop, accessories with room for files, snack bars, a packable jacket, with 2 front zipper pocket to quickly stash keys and sunglasses, zippered side pockets (nowhere outside to stow a water bottle though), and it's built rugged like the soft luggage. Great comfortable straps, even if you just go over one shoulder. I haven't gotten it soaked in rain yet, but pretty sure it will hang in there fine if a little wet (just not left in the rain for hours, same as a soft suitcase). Very good zippers, seem rugged. Good top handle for a quick grab. Stays open without tipping over. Worth the extra cost to me for these daily features.

Great small, business backpack
This is more or less perfect for my needs. Well built, nice lines, not overly bling-y, and exactly the right amount of storage space for a typical daily commute to work. For reference, in my bag I carry a 15" notebook computer, charger, various other chargers and wires, over-the-ear headphones in a case, about 1/2" thick pile of documents, various keys, biz cards, wallet, and other doodads. All of this fits with room to spare. Well thought out pockets and compartments. This bag is smaller than most other bags that I see people carrying, and I purposely bought it for that reason. Fits everything but doesn't look like I'm going camping. Highly recommend. (FYI, I've had it for about a month - no issues with unusual wear and tear - seems solid.)
