I used a chair for most "I need to be higher" tasks before, and I did not like it. It sat in a corner, taking up space and being an eyesore 99.9999% of the time, and I didn't exactly feel comfortable standing on it. So for Christmas, told my husband that I wanted to get rid of the chair (and get something else.) But mostly, I wanted the chair to go.Dug through reviews, compared features and prices, took measurements, settled on this.1) I do not miss the chair. I still grin when I see that empty spot where the chair once stood. Happy to be rid of it.2) I've gone from "I really don't want to do this project..." to "Alright, task complete! What else can I do while I've got the step ladder out? The top of those blinds looks a little dusty; I'll wipe that down."3) It's compact size is convenient, so if something suddenly does come up that needs a quick fix - looking at you, loose curtain rod screw - it's tucked under the bench in the kitchen for an easy grab, and even easier transport. No more bulky chair legs snagging the corner or bumping doors!The only additional thing I did to it, just to mitigate the risk of scratching things while being moved in and out of storage, was I attached some furniture pads on both flat sides at the top and bottom to raise it up off the floor a smidge and let it glide over the floor easier.

Perfect little step ladder for my truck. I'm a old guy who has trouble climbing in to the bed of the truck but with this little ladder it's just the right higth, it also makes it easy to reach my roofrack. It's quality aluminum is light and well built.

In my search for a slim modern 3-step ladder, I came across the ones you can find on Pottery Barn or Crate and Barrel, but they will run you a pretty penny. Then I tried Amazon and came across this one, which checks all the boxes I was wanting in the high end ladders sold byPB or CB.I’ve had this ladder for a while now, which is why I’m writing my review now. As I frequently use this, I have zero regrets about the purchase. It is easy to maneuver in and out of storage, is strong, and - critical for me - aesthetically pleasing!! Absolutely love this ladder and you will too, especially for those that live in a smaller apartment like me and are tight on “laundry” space.

This fits perfect in my pantry. It takes no space and it very needed.

This is hands down the best purchase for my kitchen pantry and looks beautiful in our remodel! Standing up alone makes this perfect. Love the gold

First thing we did was pinch the living hell out of ourselves when we went to close it. Kind of unnerving to have a ladder in the house called WHOA WHOA, too but it’s s the right look and size so we will let it live here for now.

At 5’1 I need a step stool in my closetIt was hard to find a pretty one until this!!!
