These are the best LED light strips you can buy for the money, it’s been one of the few times I’ve been legitimately shocked by how good value something is. I’ve had these on the TV for almost a year now. I’ve owned a lot of LED light strips over the years and normally they are the “old” style ones where all the LEDs are exposed, so over time dust etc gathers on the LEDs themselves. Having had great experience with Govee LED strips in the past (the old style) I needed new ones and bought these. I was blown away by the quality, the entire LED strip is covered by a rubber lining. This means you don’t have to worry about the LEDs getting covered in dust or debris, getting broken when cleaning or moving the tv etc they are always protected. The brightness is insanely good. I have never seen LED strips look this good. I compared these next to a Philip ambilight TV and the Govee light strip blew it away! The colours are rich and vibrant. Without question my favourite feature is that you can control each individual segment on the light strip to have multiple colours at once without any kind of “moving” scenery setting. This is something every other LED light strip (bar insanely expensive ones) seem to fail at. It is powered by a proper plug not like 99% of the other light strips which are powered by a USB into the back of the TV. It integrates flawlessly with Alexa. The Govee app itself is brilliant. There’s AI features, and an endless amount of customisation options. I have multiple Govee products, all of them are great but these light strips are the best value item I’ve bought, highly recommend them! I haven’t had a single issue, it always connects to Alexa, they’ve never flickered or even dulled in brightness slightly. 10/10

After I installed the LEDs it was easy to set up and there are loads of settings or you can make your own. The lights are nice and bright and create a nice atmosphere. Im yet to try the music synchronisation but will update this when I have. Also I noticed a lot a few people have said it’s not sticky enough, this is because I noticed when you peal off the sticky backing the glue strip can sick to it so peal it very carefully and if it does stick to the backing strip the glue strip can be peeled of and put back onto the LED strip. I don’t think you would want it any stickier as it would mark the back of the TV if you need to take it off. Plus I found if you need to adjust it,it comes off and is still sticky enough to reposition it. Definitely recommend this just make sure you take your time and follow the video instruction(it’s on here in the above first picture section)on how to attach it.

After a lot of research, I decided on these things. Wow! Great colours, fantastic scenes and dead easy to control with Alexa - 'Alexa LED blue'. Great that you can select scenes from other community members as well as complete control over saturation, room atmosphere and brightness. A couple of things to bear in mind: 1. If you use voice control, rename your device to something easy to remember. 2. Make sure the LEDs on the back of the TV are over not under the wires otherwise or you will get strange shadows. 3. Use the extra sticky pads on all corners to manage the corner wires. Love it and highly recommended.

Really good backlight overall. The colours are vivid, the scene modes and music sync are genuinely fun, and it connects to Google Home easily. The setup over Wi-Fi was painless, and voice control works well. One downside: the adhesive isn't great. After about six months, mine started peeling off the back of the TV on its own. Nothing some tape, glue or mounting clips can't fix, but worth knowing going in.

I have used a number of Govee products and after purchasing a new 55" TV wanted some backlighting, the set comes with everything needed. They are easy to install as they are self adhesive and also include some extra reinforcing pieces to hold the corners secure, However I hit a major issue as they say its for 55 to 70 inch but it really isn't suitable for 55 as its just too long. Luckily I am pretty good at soldering so had to shorten each of the four sections by one block of three LED's which then allowed them to fit comfortably. If you have a 60" or above then I would recommend them but if you have a 55" I would think twice unless you have the skills to modify them. Another minor issue I have is that occasionally they disconnect from my network for no apparent reason and then the next day it has reconnected and also they are limited to 2.4Ghz wifi.

Govee is my go too, great quality and great app for customisation, after redecorating a room, I fancied a changed from the usual ceiling strip to more of a wall feature so I bought the tv backlight, I prefer to go with the RGBIC as you can create a lot more custom scenes, and of course the smart version so I can control with google/alexa

Hopefully this will help with anyone wondering how this works as I had to sift through a lot of reviews (perhaps I was being blind) - This is 1 long light strip BUT there are 4 sections. You start with a short side, then a long, then short, then long. These come with plastic clips that you can stick to keep the “corner wires” back. No fuss, no faff, no connectors needed & these really do look the business. Put the strip up against the TV first so you can see where the corners will go. 55 inch is very much edge to edge on a tv, I can see these would easily work up to 75inch. 10/10 took about 10 minutes and most of that was turning the TV around. Govee home App works really well, colours are super vibrant, via Alexa you can reduce the brightness by any %, change the colour, turn on & off. The only downside was waiting for it to get dark to experience it!! Absolutely recommend these and hope the photos help anyone wondering about the way this strip works.

Easy to install , connected to app. Does all as described. Good value for price
