Quality IP Cam for the price.
Ok so I have had this IP camera now for over a year and thought it was about time I wrote a review. The camera build is good and looks good to. There are no visible IR lights on the face of the camera and it is not too big. I have mine high up on a cabinet and its gives a great view of the room. The power cable length is ok, but I required an extension cable to get a plug nearer to the cameras location. You could just buy an extent ion cable though which would be more discreet.Setup was very easy. Download the P2P Livecam app or possible the Keekoon app which I think also works and is newer. You then need to connect the cam to your router / Hub and follow the instructions which in this case were easy to read and made sense. The final bit was to add the cam to the app which is really easy if you have a QR reader on your phone as you just scan the code on the underside of the cam and it does all the work for you.Once connected the app works well. Press the cam which is displayed which also shows the status of the cam and it loads straight into the live streaming. The picture quality is very impressive. There are four different quality modes from HD to low. The low works flawlessly and live streaming is smooth at about 25fps, and is very clear with good colour. As you progress up through the quality it does improve a lot and the HD is amazingly clear and I don't think you would need it any clearer. This cam will switch automatically to night mode and the quality is fantastic, very very clear. You will be able to make out everything with ease, I was very impressed. The distance of night vision is also good. In night mode little red IR LED lights appear around the face of the cam so it does make it obvious it is there if you were trying to conceal the fact. Without the IR lights on this will still show a good picture if there is some light even very low projecting into the room, or if there is a television on in the room.If using your phone you can take pictures straight to your phone and record video footage. You can also pop a micro sd card into the rear of the camera. Moving the camera is easy, when viewing on phone just swipe left right up or down and it moves swiftly. There is a flickering power light on the came which is purple but you can switch this off in the settings. This camera can be set up to view over the Internet. You will need to use something like no-ip and create a free account, and then port forward your router / hub. Most of the time use port 80. A Google search for your Hun will result in someone showing how to do this. Once done use no-ip to show the IP address of the cam and put straight into the browser and enter your username and password and it works great, again giving you full control of the came from anywhere you are in the world.Overall this camera is brilliant for the price and still works great. I have had it on constantly for well over a year now and had no issues. If your want a cam that's reliable and produce great quality images then give this came a try you will not regret it.

It used to work but now it doesn't.
October 2019As you can see from my review below, I used to like these cameras as they worked and were easy (relatively) to set up. This all seemed to change in September/October 2019 when all my four Keekoon cameras stopped working outside my own home wifi area, meaning I could no longer monitor my home remotely. I see other people seem to have the same problem and can only assume there is some sort of major software problem? Also, the emailing function has suddenly disappeared from my app. Until all this is put right, be very wary!------------------------------I have now bought 3 of these cameras which suit me well. Many of these type of cameras don't seem to work very well but this one does. For the money this camera is pretty good. The picture is clear, there are plenty of control options and there is no ongoing fee to pay which makes a critical difference.PS. I have now used one of these cameras outdoors in very cold weather (-18C) although well sheltered from the rain and it worked perfectly.I much prefer this to the newer Keekoon model - Indoor 2.0 MP P2P Wi-Fi IP Camera 1080P - which is meant to be higher definition but seems to me to give a poorer picture. The camera needs to be set up with an Ethernet cable but thereafter it will work through wifi. Go into 'Device Settings' and then into 'WiFi Config'. Enter your wifi details there. What a pity the instructions for so many of these electrical devices are so poor!

Great for the money, would like better security.
Great cameras HD is not really HD but great quality for a small camera the same I bought two of these to check on my cat when I'm in work. Security is via password, after buying these a few weeks later I saw similar cameras with WEP/WPA/WAP2 security. If these cameras had better security they would be 5 stars set is easy on an iPhone the instructions were easy to follow. They are still working after a few months, connection can sometimes take a little while when out and about and using free wifi but that is because my router is supplied by my isp and is not that great and free wifi seems slow anyway. It seems to work fastest on 4G & 3G. There is a small amount of time lag but I think that is expected a it's using internet.UPDATE: After the latest iOS P2P app updates the cameras no longer work on 3G/4G which means that I have to find free wifi to use the cameras away from home. Free wifi does not always work either and can drop out or not even connect. The app developers rarely update. This is not a fault of the cameras but the lack of maintenance on that the developers of the app have got download on Apples App Store.NEW UPDATE:The cameras have been working on 3G/4G for a while after a previous update, I’ve also found the app developer has several other apps that work with these cameras on Apple’s App Store by checking the other apps by developer link. I think I’ve downloaded around seven that work flawlessly, so I’ve got plenty to falll back on if they fail.
