The Meaning of the Holy Qur'an for School Children

A little difficult for my 8 year old to understand but the 10 year old understands it much better. Especially after I've explained the meaning of some of the big complicated words. It would have been much more suited to younger readers if some of the sentencing were written less complicated and some of the more complex words had been substituted for words that children could understand much more easily. Apart from that, it's well written and easy to understand from an 11+ perspective. The structuring of the book makes it easy to explain the stories to the younger readers and read in small digestible bites. I think it's deserving of the 5 stars I've given it even though it could be worded better to suit the younger readers.

Amazing translation with brief explanations of each surah in modern English. Although it states for children it is equally beneficial for adults Because of the ease with which you can read and understand it. Amazing purchase and one you will not regret. Also very much recommended for those who are not Muslim but wish to understand Islam’s holy book and its message. Very much recommended to all.

Beautiful book ! Was in a quest to have the perfect book for my kids, needless to say I keep on reading it with so much interest because it’s simple English . Background info and illustrations make such a difference . Definitely recommended. Great work , Welldone.

Excellent and really easy read for children. It's not a like an adult or literal translation but is translated into easy sentences with easy meaning. It's a very thick book hence the price. I am going to bind this book as I can see it opening up and pages coming out if used alot. Highly recommend for any household with children. This is in particular for children 11+. As an RE teacher, it's good resource to have.

Bought this for Children to understand Holy Quran better but ended up reading this myself. My whole family is enjoying reading this. We have 3 bookmarks in it. I loved it so much I have asked friends and family to order this as well and I think some of them has done this already. JazakAllah for this book.

Although this book does not have arabic alongside it, the easy to understand english and extra background stories preceding most of the paragraphs brings the message of this book alive. Parents can sit down with kids and read it together. This also helps them appreciate what they are learning from their evening quran classes.

Easy to read and understand as a beginners guide

Fantastically simple clear and concise. A great guide to coverts, reverts and young children or those wanting to understand the Quran. This book has an unbiased approach that isn't tainted by culture but put the facts down in a clear understandable language with concise background to the circumstances of some verses.
