CYMA MP5 560 Rds Double Hi-Cap Airsoft Magazine

Well this little bundle of joy was certainly required. After realising that I did not have quite enough ammo to make it through a game, I decided to pick this bad boy up, and, fortunately, it lived up to expectations.Materials & Build QualityIn terms of materials, the actual magazines are made of a high-density polymer, the fake bullets are metal, and the piece that supposedly holds the magazines together is made of aluminium. The magazines feel solid enough and don't feel like they will fall apart any time soon, despite my concerns over the very obvious line where they have connected the halves of the magazines together. The clip that holds them together certainly does feel as if it adds rigidity to the magazine, however.UsageIn terms of filling, the fake bullets slide back to reveal a large hole in which it is very easy to empty bb's into, and it also has the standard mp5 mag fill flap on the other magazine, which is nice, as it means you can be sure that the entire unit is filled to the brim! The magazine is wound using a wheel on the bottom which faces the other way to normal mp5 mags, and has larger teeth. This is nice as it feels less awkward to wind the magazine, and the teeth are large enough to get snagged on surfaces, should you so desire to wind it that way. I had no issues with the magazine mis-feeding. It's worth mentioning that if you have a stock that folds to the right, you may have issues with this magazine as it protrudes to the right of the weapon.AestheticsThe Aesthetics of the magazine are ok. As mentioned before, you can see where the two halves of each magazine have been joined together, and there is another join where the two mags link together. Additionally, the bullets look real enough, and the little plastic piece on the bottom of the magazine assists on keeping it upright on flat surfaces, a definite plus!All in all, I am satisfied with this. Although it seemed a little expensive at first, it's not really, especially when you consider the capacity, and it certainly helps not to have to reload as often.

Have had many hours of fun with this bad boy. I'm not one for cheating but it does look like two mid-caps stuck together and have got away with it on a few occasions on mid cap only days. What more can I say??? Sweet lolMikeFrom Portsmouth
