This product is nearly perfect and I hope you will get one or more sets as well! This green model is very bright, eye-catching, and a lot of fun to experience when the sun is down.At the time that I received this product I also had ordered the version that cycles through multiple colors. Both are excellent products and you will have to decide which is the right one for you. The big difference is that the singular color lights had two modes: On/Off -- or blinking. I find myself appreciating the blinking mode a lot more often than I had anticipated and was disappointed that the color-switching one (while beautiful to behold) is only On or Off. You can read my review over on that model.As a (pre-pandemic) daily bicycle commuter, I found the side-illumination these afforded my tires to be invaluable for peace of mind. My rear-facing tail light and 1000 lumen headlight have long been staples BUT bicycling through an intersection always caused me to wonder whether the cross-traffic would notice me. Drivers are rarely on the lookout for cyclists where I live. I feel like these wheel lights changed my visibility to cross-traffic in a big way and I was very pleased to have them on anytime I was out pre-dawn or post-dusk. I even appreciated using them in flashing mode under the presumption that they may just give a little more visibility during the morning or evening commute when the sun was still up.The installation process isn't ideal and I found it a little more difficult and worrisome than I had pictured. I found the tiny bulbs (like regularly-spaced dew on grass) to get in the way of twisting around my spokes and did not always feel like the wrapping was going well. It left me worried that I had or would damage them during the installation process. However, the material turned out to be remarkably durable and I was grateful that my 700C wheel fit the product perfectly for one trip around the outer rim. If I had a smaller wheel (or wanted to install on a kids bike) I imagine the number of trips around would feel tedious and a bummer that there aren't shorter versions available. Or maybe it looks extra cool to have layering of the bulbs.The battery life on these are fair. In the cold weather they obviously take a hit but in general it seems like it would be 3 months of daily use in warm weather and 2 months in the winter. The usage period is likely longer but I have not kept very good track of battery life to report properly.Regarding maintenance, if you get your bicycle tuned up, these little lights will likely have to be worked around as the bicycle mechanic trues the wheel spokes OR if you hang your bicycle by the wheel, they will likely be an annoyance to you. But there isn't any interaction with the lights (hopefully) when changing a tube. It feels like once they are installed they pretty well stay where you put them. I've had a few times where I wished that the lights were capable of being more cemented in place but in general I haven't messed with their positioning along the spokes. Expect there to be at least a little movement, though, from where you install them.So yeah, I am a huge fan of the bike wheel spoke lights and I can only hope that the innovations will be able to continue and keep this product improving as it matures. Battery:I purchased these lights in red and have been using for the last 3 weeks.i was waiting for the batteries to die so I could give an estimate of battery life. I ride 4x a week at night for about an hour each ride. I have kept the lights in steady on (as opposed to the blinking feature) and the batteries still have not died. It would benefit buyers to use rechargeable batteries as well, which will last a while.Compliments:I have yet to ride without at least one person shouting "love the lights" as I ride by. I bought these for safety, but the compliments on the bike is definitely a bonus.Safety:These lights are pretty bright. They leave a red light on anything I pass by and a couple cars have passed be and thanked me for the extra lighting as I was easier to see than just with my front and rear lights. If you are a night rider, these are a must have.Installation:The video provided with the product helped understand the installation process. Its incredibly easy with wrapping the wire around every other spoke. I was concerned about the loop structure that holds the batteries in place when I installed it, but they have held up and do not move at all with the ride. I had an issue with getting the lights to stay at the end of the spoke. In speaking with the seller, you can achieve the perfect loop by hot gluing the wire to stay in place on the spoke. Note that glue is not included but it's a good idea. It still looks nice without the glue, but it doesn't provide the perfect circle you see in the listing without glue. The tighter I wrapped the wire, the more it pulled inward in the spoke. The pictures illustrate this a bit, but you can see it isn't something that stands out or takes away from the effect.Colors:I bought the red, but it would be cool if I could change colors. The set purchased is only for one color. It may bring a bigger wow effect getting one color for the front and one for the back. I'll look in to this more in the future.I will definitely be buying more of these for the familys bikes. Thanks for an awesome product!

My wife ordered the two sets of the Activ Life Bike Wheel Lights for our two kids' bikes and we couldn't be happier! These lights are impressive, look really cool, and provide visibility now that shorter days have arrived.► Installation:Installation is my least favorite part of this product and is a little awkward and your hands are guaranteed to get chain grease on them. Regardless, the effort is worth the result. In short, you'll attach a small battery pack (with the LED controller) to the central hub of the bike. It's held secure with two strong straps (included) and batteries are provided too.From the battery pack/controller you'll then route the lights through the spokes all the way around the wheel. It's a little time consuming but again, the results are worth it! That's pretty much it. Just be sure you don't go to heavy with the strand of lights in the beginning or you run the risk of running out by the end and having uneven lighting.► Operation:A small, simple button toggles the lights on/off. My kids do not need help to operate the lights and their small hands can more easily reach the button anyway. Yay!► Lights in Action:In a little over a month we've had zero problems with the lights. They've stayed put (and my kids ride their bikes a lot) and are still operating on the original batteries.I cannot stress enough how cool these lights are. They've impressed everyone from our kids' grandparents to neighbors and all the neighborhood kids. They've been such a hit that my wife and I have defaulted to buying these as birthday gifts for our friends kids.We're really, really pleased all around with these lights. Most definitely recommended!

Lots of compliments on these lights on bike tires. Easy to install. Bright lights can’t be missed. A must have to decorate your bike, and to add more visibility. Very happy with them.

These bike lights are a bit more complicated to fit that some other styles of bike lights. Its easier with a second set of hands for example. But it comes with a solid set of fitting instructions. Just make sure you align the internal battery compartment correctly or the lights won't work. But once they are on, they look amazing in use. The colours are great with the constant changing of color. And you don't need to be going too fast to get a good effect from them.
