Fab stuff, everyone should have some of this in the house. Works wonders on most leaks, provided there is no pressure involved. Waste pipes, sinks, baths, toilets etc, give it a few overlapping layers & Presto!! No more leaks, temporary or permanent it works a treat.

MY PAST FIXES My soil pipe is imperial cast onto porcelain pan. Many years I tried multiple items to stop an ever reoccurring drip from the joint. What I used over the years before trying Denso was x4 plumbers mate tubs (Evo Stik Plumbers Mait 750g) a Putty play-do type stuff which would work for a while but would end with same result a constant drip, in the end a tray was placed under the joint with dry tissue paper which would be monitored until it got wet then more plumbers mate applied. I did not get Denso tape before due to thinking it was messy looked horrendous and probably had an oily diesel smell etc. How wrong I was. This stuff is great. My wife did the job excellently and no drips or sight of any issues that I have had in the past. Although it has only been applied for a month or so. I will update over next 6 months if drip occurs. update. (UpdateOCT 2024 still no leaks) BE PREPARED I recommend disposable gloves and newspaper on floor and disposable scissors for cutting the tape to reach into the awkward places. Overall job took approx 30 minutes including removing a percentage of plumbers mate.

Did the job messy but as they tell you use gloves

This is just what you need to protect copper pipes from cement/plaster attacking them, if you are burying them in the wall or floor! It allows for expansion so helps to prevent cracking in the plaster or cement as well, But God, it's messy stuff to handle! It's like a thick bandage covered in a very sticky substance almost like grease. Wear gloves! Wear clothes you don't care about because if you get this on them it's not coming off! Excellent product.

Use gloves , easy to cut with a snaley knife, very sticky. For short term fix it does the job better then spray sealants and any leak tapes . Not a permanent fix just be Aware.
