HOLD'EM 100% Silk Suspenders for Men Clip End Dress Tuxedo Suspender Made in USA

I was disappointed to learn that my formal wear shop did not supply suspenders with a tuxedo. They showed me that the pants contained an adjustable waistband that was supposed to hold. I'm sorry, but I didn't trust my pants to that skimpy looking device. I found these suspenders, and bought white so they would not be visible under my jacket against my white shirt. They attached securely to the pants, adjusted easily to the exact length, and held my pants up for the whole evening without me worrying or having to pull up slipping pants. Mission accomplished, daughter married, and I put them in my drawer.

These real silk suspenders are very comfortable. The size claps don't slip the pants clips are like any other(they clasp but if you hit them just right they pop open.) If this your first suspenders that are not all elastic material you will have to get use to the fact they will not move. The only elastic parts are the two back pieces so the they tend to be stiffer when you put them on or take them off. I really like the 4 clasp system over the 3 clasp, because it feels less likely to come off if one of the clips come undone. Over all these suspenders are classy and fell firm. The silk material feels good to the touch.

The grey matched the suit I was to wear perfectly. My only mild complaint is the length. I had to have the suspenders maxed out. I'm 5' 11" with an average length torso. But they did their job very well and expect them to last many more wears.

My husband doesn't like cummerbunds, so when he had to wear a tuxedo for a formal occasion, these seemed just the ticket. And they were. He said they were comfortable, stayed in place, and did their job. And--from me--they also looked good (classic and understated) even when he took his jacket off. Really pleased with this purchase.
