Rio X60 SCANNING LASER HAIR REMOVER

No great results as yet but it does take time - and you will need alot of time with this product. You need to overlap each time, and the area covered by the machine is so small. You can therefore imagine how long it will take to do your legs never mind smaller areas. The price is a bit steep considering it's average performance. I suggest investing in a more advanced product or going to a salon.

The latest laser product by Rio (60 hairs removal system) does not work properly. Maybe for very small areas and with a huge effort one may get some results but otherwise it is a complete waist of time. In summary the laser apperture is very small and it takes a lot of time to wait for the laser apperture to turn and do a complete circle for the very small area/footprint. In comparison a professional system hits 4x the area in a second. Even after doing the circle in that very small area most hair remain within the treated laser area therefore the treatment will not be complete. The safety features also I find them a bit annoying as I would prefer to have also the option of wearing safety glasses/googles and have better control by myself of a constant laser beam. For example hair on finger are very difficult to be removed. If you want to do hands, back, or legs this product does not work. Maybe the IPL works better but definetely the laser product does not work.

I have found this product to be FANTASTIC. NO MORE SHAVING/WAXING - I have used this product for over a year and am now completely and permanently hair free. I used it twice a week, every week, until all the hair follicles had been destroyed. It is very time consuming but DOES WORK. 1min approx per section and you have to overlay each section. (Please don't think you will see results super quick it WILL take time). Hair grows in three stages - Stage 1 (Anagen) Growth phase this can last 2-6 years, Stage 2 (Catagen) To renew itself the hair follical shrinks to disintergration detaches and rests, And Stage 3 (telogen) The resting stage can last 1-4 months. I bought the single use scanner but found that took far to long. With this being a 60 hair laser treatment you will find the destroyed hair removed in larger patches. It can be used as a single hair treatment for smaller areas or targeted hairs if needed. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH. EVERY WOMAN SHOULD INVEST, MONEY VERY WELL SPENT.

This is a stylish, sturdy item. The DVD instruction booklet was very comprehensive and helpful to go back and refer to if you forget anything. You do need patience with this, the manufacturer recommends '6 times in 6 months' to stop hair growth altogether. The area that each laser 1 minute session covers is very small, hence you need patience to do a whole leg!

The good news is it was quickly delivered & it looks as it does on the photo. HOWEVER, its not a great deal of use and does not actually work very well at all. My wife has the perfect type of hair & skin colour etc (previously paid for professional sessions which have worked without fail but were appallingly expensive). This machine does burn a few hairs but not only is it slow it covers only a few hairs at best each time. It is so weak they regrow over & over despite re-treatment. It may work over a very very long time so its your choice. In short its probably best to stick to a razor or another alternative because the results do not warrant the cost unless you wish to spend months using it.

Have only used the scanner for two weeks. Have about ten days scanned the same area. Still no signs that it is working. But I can't say it doesn't work yet.

Bought it a long time ago. Used it for months before giving up. Takes an incredibly long time to just do small areas (hours upon hours) and it really doesn't work. I cannot stress that enough. It does NOT work. I was really hopeful as I didn't want to pay to go to salons to get it done but this is not the same thing. This is about as effective as shining a torch light. I tried it on my face, my arms, my legs. I tried using different strength levels. I lent it to my fairer friend to try, just in case. No use. It overheats quickly too. It is a complete and utter waste of time and money. Please save yourself the time, effort and cash and just go to a salon, or use other methods of hair removal. I followed all the directions. I gave it all the time it asks for and I assure you it is useless. Now its just one more piece of junk collecting dust in my attic. The hours I wasted on this I can't get back. Don't make the same mistake.

hi all i can strongly suggest this item i have skin type IV(olive to brown) and black hair well this thing really works, but pains.. i first tried level 3, but guess this was too much, coz it started paining immidiately, i felt like im burning lol then tried level 1 and this is enough there is fixed treatment time, so if u couldnt stand till it ends because of pain, then when ur skin chills just apply the wand back to the same place people, if u are blond or u have dark brown skin, then this laser system will not suit u, do not waste ur money coz its not gonna work on you use in other cases guess my olive to brown skin and black hair is ideal hope this was useful for prospective buyers will keep u up to date

Nicht so toll, außer ein nerviges Gepiepse wovon man einen Tinitus bekommt hat dieses Gerät wohl leider keinen Nutzen. Aber vielleicht werde ich ja noch eines Besseren belehrt. Gut Ding will Weile haben!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

La he estado usando durante un mes y tengo qeu decir que funciona, pero el area que cubre en cada disparo es menor de 1cm2 y a la máxima potencia tarda un minuto en hacer cada disparo...Además no basta con una sola sesión para que se caigan los pelos (por lo menos a mi no me ha bastado, he necesitado 2 sesiones para que se vieran algunas zonas sin pelos) Puede que sea util para zonas pequeñas pero para areas grandes creo que no merece la pena el tiempo que inviertes en relacion con los resultados que se consiguen.

puede ser un buen productor para una depilación muy local (axilas, ingles), pero nada bueno para piernas, brazos, etc..., es muy lento. cuando miras información antes de comprar, esta da lugar a errores, porque lo recomiendan para todo tipo de zonas, y realmente no es así.

mala compra, si tienes un millón de años quizás te quites todo el bello
