After my Porlex grinder's ceramic burrs started to dull (and the handle attachment began to strip completely) I knew it was time for a new coffee grinder. This time I opted for a slight upgrade to what I'd heard was a more consistent and reliable grinder. I can confidently say that this grinder offers an excellent value for the results it provides. Sure there are higher quality grinders available for those seeking to make smaller gains in flavor and consistency but I think this grinder offers that sweet spot of quality, value, and performance. Why?- The grinds are very consistent and it grinds perfectly for pour overs, Aeropress brews, drip, and French press coffee methods. If you are looking for an espresso grinder, opt for Timemore's ESP series for more fine tuned (and finer) grinding offerings. Or at that level you may want to consider a higher end grinder.- This grinder is easy to use and grinds pretty fast in my experience, certainly faster than my old Porlex did. The finer your grind preference the longer and harder you'll have to grind but I've never found it to be a "slow grinder."- Every piece of this grinder is built with quality. It all assembles together perfectly and is durably built of high end materials. It feels good to hold and use.- This grinder is easy to disassemble and clean too. I appreciate that they include a brush to do so.- It looks really nice!Long story short I foresee this being my go to coffee grinder for a long time. I'm really happy with the results I'm getting from it and my coffee cups taste great. I'd recommend it.

Used mine for the first time today. The double bearings make it very easy to use and the grounds came out with an even grind. Will say if you have small hands you might have issues holding it. I have no issues but, my wife is unable to grip the body due to her small and and arthritis in her thumb. Like others have said the bag the comes with it could be a little bigger so you could put it in with the handle attached would be nice. I think another 1/2" of width would allow it to be put in the bag assembled. With it disassembled I'd think you'd at least end up with finish damage from the parts rubbing together. Not an issue for me as mine will just sit on the counter between uses.Only thing I will warn people about is the Amazon shipping. I ordered it on May 2. It stated it was in stock and would be delivered the next day with Prime to my address. All day on May 3 it said delivery by 10pm. At 10pm it changed to delayed. Wasn't shipped out till May 6 and was delivered on May 7.

The bearings are quiet and very smooth. The grind size is very consistent, and can be very fine (much too fine for my 15bar espresso machine). My biggest gripe is that the folding handle is cool, but the grinder doesn't fit in the included pouch with the handle folded. The top has to be taken off to fit.

Love the C3 from Timemore. I've been wanting to up my coffee game recently and get into Whole Bean over Pre grounded coffee to see what the fuss was all about.I'll never go back to normal grounds. Whole Bean truly emits more robust flavors.The C3 Chestnut is really just an elegant piece of machinery. It makes the coffee making experience more fun and hands on. And being able to control your grain levels depending on what kind of blend you want to make is amazing.I usually use 8 Clicks for Expresso.15 Clicks for Pour Over.The C3 is very easy to disassemble and reassemble and clean.I like that it comes with an invoiced travel pouch and cleaning brush that I utilize everyday.You can go wrong with the C3. Class meets function.

Was man für den Preis aber auch erwartet.Ich benutze die Mühle zum Mahlen von Gewürzen und bin mit dem Resultat wirklich super zufrieden. Auf der feinsten Einstellung sieht der gemahlene Pfeffer aus, wie gekauft.Leichte Handhabung, aber ein bisschen umständlich zu reinigen. Von Außen lässt sie sich leicht mit dem beiliegenden Pinsel reinigen, aber wenn man das Innere säubern will, muss man zu Druckluft greifen.Kleines Manko, was der Gesamtbewertung aber keinen Abzug tut.Wer selber Pfeffer, Kümmel und andere Gewürze mahlen will, bekommt hier auf jeden Fall das richtige Gerät.
