I have tried serveal brands and models of drones and they all let me down with empty promises. NOW DJI has beyond passed what they offer. The flying of this drone is amazing, stable, and well balanced, I can fly for 1 hour with the 3 batteries which is good for a drone. The video quality, and pictures are AMAZING! Yes these cost more than other brands, but affter trying others I'm happy with the extra I paid.

I've had a few lower end drones which got me really interested in the hobby. For a smaller drone it hadles wind really good and it is surprislingly quiet. Flys waaay better than my other drones. I do suggest flying a couple cheap $20-$30 drones before getting this one to get your skills and confidence up and to see if you really like flying drones. Although many consider this a beginner drone, a few hundred $$ is nothing to sneeze at for many of us and you would hate to crash this on your first flight.

This HAS to be the best single purchase that is a game changer for my daily life. Talk about fun, focus, and more than ‘interesting’ for a personal distraction and is fun! I learned, and got the hang of it in 10-15 minutes! WOW! I had the old totally manual ones before that are no longer operational. Now, it’s totally changed and different! I mean, I can set the controller down, and it will hover and wait for me to make it do something! The video is awesome, HD, and great color. I’d buy another if I needed one! I can see the more sophisticated ones on the horizon after I get thoroughly proficient with this one. (Good excuse to buy another! LOL) So, here I go into the drone world! I purchased this as a NEW combo, not used. Well, this Mini 3 would not pair with the controller with both me and a friend trying, we both have lots of experience with DJI drones. We ended up calling DJI USA and spoke with a representative and he asked us to look and give him the serial number...we did that and he said that this one was supposed to be in for repair! Looks like seller/middle man was stealing returned DJI kits and resealing and reselling them! He offered to have me send it in to him and would receive a new one in return but I said I would return it to amazon free and not have to pay for shipping to him. I did this and then purchased a new Combo directly from DJI and it works flawlessly.

Don't waste your money on crappy drones. This thing was worth every penny. Easy to fly, great range, 30+ min of fly time per battery, stable in windy conditions, fantastic video quality.
