Blazing NeedlesSolid Twill Round Footstool Cushion, 18", Steel Grey

This item, and many others in its category have extremely deceptive pictures and names. The item is labeled " footstool cushion" though it should be labeled " footstool cushion only". Because the picture shows the stool frame and the cushion, and you can be directed to it when searching for a particular color of cushion, from a list of nearly identical stools some of which also include the frame it is easy to think that you are ordering both the cushion and the frame. The addition of the word "only" would prevent most people from making that mistake and ordering something that is only half of what they need.

It’s just the cushions. I ordered 2 of these to go with matching chairs. Why would you have the picture be of stools with the cushions if it’s the cushions only.

I am sure that like many others who have made this purchase, I'd been disappointed to not have the pictured stool that this cushion is for. I felt that the stool picture should have been half-toned, to indicate that it isn't offered, only the full toned cushion. Over some time, the cushion will flatten out, and the addition of a zipper would make it much easier to fluff up again. Overall, though, it is well made, of a durable fabric, and I expect it to last a long time. It's quite comfortable to use, and is a decent buy.

I just received my footstool cushion and just like all the other reviews it is not round and it is very poorly sewn on the one Edge that is completely Square. I along with everyone else don't understand why this is so. I gave 3 stars because unlike others my cushion did match the color of the chair cushion. And since I only paid $11.49 for it total including tax I am willing to deal with it. My sister does sew and I'm hoping she can make it look proper. So I advise anyone else to wait till this is on sale for 10 bucks then tax to buy it. I got the forest green color.

A bit oversize in a good way, thick, comfy.Order came in days, much earlier than predicted!

I did not read the ad carefully and totally missed the fact that it was "twill" not microsuede (like the papasan pillow). It not only is not the same fabric, it is not even the same color. My bad, but it hacks me off that Amazon put them under their "Bought together" feature. Now I have to find the right pillow and buy that. It was essentially a total waste of money.

Cushion is well made and comfortable - nice and true color - we were just disappointed with its shape. It’s not really “round”. It’s square with rounded corners and stands out as such when placed in the ottoman. Our ottomans are like the one pictured and while it’s possible to tuck the corners in temporarily, they don’t stay the way. If that’s not really important to you, then this is otherwise a great cushion.
