Bought 2 as the bottom step from my patio was just too high ....worked well made it easier for me (& my dog) to get up the steps...so good I bought 2 more.Very sturdy have small holes for drainage (when the rain eventually comes!) very impressed with this product ,& would recommend it for either elderly or young to use.

I am so glad I decided to purchase this step. I have mobility issues and this step is light enough for me to carry from room to room. Despite this it is very sturdy, I feel safe using it.

Very useful disability aid for getting into my car. For this purpose I would have preferrsd smaller dimensions. A good buy.

We're using this outside our front door, which is east facing and permanently shaded. If it was in sunlight then I wouldn't expect it to last more than a year or two with all the UV over the summer. Remains to be seen how well it stands up over time with wet/dry/temperature changes but I think we'll get several years out of it quite reliably, after a few weeks it's already a permanent fixture and has made a difference to my partner who's in early stages of a health condition affecting her legs. Suspect if you were using it inside only (e.g. as a half step up to a bath) it would last basically forever, but plastic + elements generally does mean brittleness over time.In terms of general sturdiness: the two adults in our house weigh 15-17st, more if carrying shopping, and whilst there is a *slight* give if you step on this right in the middle of the long edge, its rock solid if you step literally anywhere else or put your whole foot on it instead of just the ball of your foot. If you step slightly to one side or the other there's no give at all, and it's wide enough for two adult male feet to stand fully on it.Impressed for the price, so far. Time will, of course, tell. Particularly since it's June, so it hasn't really even got wet yet for us to make sure it's as non slip as it feels (confidence is high from experience of this kind of material mind you).

Lovely aid to get out of my back door which is quite deep was quite surprised how much difference and easy it made getting in and out. Very lightweight and durable to the weather also non slip and stable.

My lawn is on the top of a foot high wall and now that I am older this half step remove the fear of muscles not working and so falling. It is sturdy even though it's only plastic and of course can be left out in all weathers. Even with strong winds it doesn't blow away.
