A great product, what more can I say.

I made some candles out of this wax, which was easy enough to do. But the wax didn't hold the scent of the oils I used (I used one small bottle in one case, so plenty) and sime sank to the bottle. What was more disappointing is that rather than the wax pooling in a large circle under the wick and burning slowly, it just melted all the way down. A candle of roughly 10cm of depth has lasted all of about 2 hours. Not great and I won't be purchasing any more.

I ordered this microcrystalline wax after doing a bit of research on how to make your own waterproofing compound.I have made different concoctions in the past that haven't quite done the job, but after watching the lone woodsman on YouTube I decided to get some of this as it's the main ingredient that he uses because it's physical bonding properties are greater than paraffin wax and even beeswax.I used this and added other natural and mineral waxes, oils and spirits to make what I now call Boot Butter.It did a fantastic job of waterproofing my motorbike boots for winter. I ran them under a spray tap in my kitchen for a while and nothing for through.I'm going to use it on my bike leathers wax jackets and a canvas jacket that I want to waterproof from scratch.
