I’m usually pretty dubious about items being labelled ‘professional’. But I must say it’s very well constructed indeed. Feels really sturdy in the hand and no flex in the blade holder. I use it for cleaning the windows on my truck at work, it’s getting a lot of use and I’m very pleased with it.

We wanted this squeegee for our shower, where we already had a cheap - but good - squeegees for a shower screen. We recently installed a full length shower stall and found we needed a better squeegee. This item seemed to fit the bill and, indeed, when it arrived I was pleased with the way it looked. The squeegee has been used for some time now, though we did stop using it for a while and have used two alternatives. However, we are back to it as it is far superior. In fact, on the glass and tiles it was good, but what we found at ceiling level (when cleaning the tiles) the black rubber blade left a black residue along the join edge of tile/ceiling. At first we thought it was mould, but luckily (though annoyingly) it was just residue from the blade. Now and then it also left minor blemishes on the (resin/plastic) floor of the shower, as we squeegeed off any excess water, but these were easily cleaned. The squeegee is prone to leave a thin water trail from the blade edge on the glass. Again, not a major problem. In use I found it easy to use and in particular had no problem manipulating it to clear the lower portions (at foot level) of glass/tile without wrist discomfort. The squeegee has no hole in the handle for hanging, so I had used some string through the handle body linked to a keyring! Doomed to failure! And what a noise if it fell...! As I mentioned, we stopped using the squeegee for a while and have now come back to it. We used a simple, German squeegee we bought at Homebase for a time and this cleared excess water efficiently. The blade was set in a holder that meant you could slide it along the handle, but over time this just became looser. We also tried a Good Grips squeegee, which we ditched after day 1. So, back with the GB Pro we are pleased and clean the wall at ceiling height slighly differently now to reduce the chance of marking.

Super Qualität! Ist das Geld absolut wert. Erst war ich bei dem Kaufpreis von 15€ doch etwas zögerlich, ob man wirklich soviel Geld für einen vernünftigen Abzieher hinlegen muss. Und dann noch für so einen winzig kleinen! Letztendlich habe ich mich zum Kauf entschieden, weil genauso einen Abzieher hat meine Mama auch, nur in größer, noch aus den 70er Jahren. Unverwüstlich in der Qualität. Und ich wollte mich nicht ewig weiter ärgern über den 1,99€ Abzieher vom Drogeriemarkt, der keine flexible Gummilippe hat und wo die Hälfte von Wasser und Feuchtigkeit nicht mitgenommen wird. Wir benutzen den kleinen Abzieher nun täglich im Bad, um nach dem Duschen den beschlagenen Spiegel flink frei zu bekommen. Auch wenn das vielleicht etwas pathetisch klingt: ich bin sehr froh, dass ich ihn habe und dass heutzutage doch noch so gute Qualität hergestellt wird. Ich würde ihn im täglichen Gebrauch nicht mehr missen wollen und würde ihn jedem uneingeschränkt empfehlen, weil er natürlich auch für die Duschkabine und zum Fenster reinigen verwendet werden kann. Update April 2025: Ich möchte gerne ein kurzes Update geben. Auch nach fünf Jahren und täglichem Einsatz hat der Fensterwischer nichts von seiner Funktionalität und Qualität eingebüßt. Funktioniert genau so wunderbar wie neu gekauft. Es sind überhaupt keinerlei Abnutzungserscheinungen erkennbar bzw. vorhanden. Die Gummilippe ist nicht ausgeleiert und musste bisher auch nicht ausgetauscht werden. Der Kauf hat sich gelohnt und bin immer noch sehr zufrieden damit.

Je l’utilise chez tout mes particuliers depuis des années. J’aime tout dans cette raclette (peut être moins son esthétique mais au moins c’est durable )
