Given the small amount of product, I didn't expect a large applicator/brush. The small brush means significant coverage like the images suggest is quite difficult. Ended up just doing the fringe rather than all over streaks/highlights.Used it like mascara - just applied and let it dry stiffly. When I tried to brush it/spread it out, colour basically disappeared and the pink powder got everywhere.tbh bought it for Barbie so it fulfilled the purpose, but wouldn't buy it again.

This worked well and gave my sons hair good orange highlights for fancy dress. Easy to use brush. Would recommend

Temporary hair dye was delivered in mascara bottle that was almost empty. Could not get enough white colouring on the brush to do anything. Result looked terrible and greasy

I have naturally dark brown hair, which I bleach and then dye bright red. When my roots come through, I'm starting to go a bit grey, so just trying to put red dye on again without bleaching it first doesn't work (and grey roots look much worse than brown roots!). This hair mascara works really well to cover up my roots, both the dark brown and the grey! And it's not just a weird mix of my natural colour with the mascara colour, but actually comes out bright red, like the pictures. Great product :)

Not a bright colour at all, has a little glitter to it so probably ok if subtle is your goal. A small amount only good for highlights or very short hair.

This is not a spray as described, it’s “hair mascara”. It’s a very small bottle with a little brush inside just like mascara and you have to run it though the hair, the colour is a deep red and quite nice but it’s only good for putting some streaks of colour or highlights on hair if you want a lot of coverage this is not the right product.
