Do they kill snails?

No they don't kill snails, because they live and target slugs within the soil, whereas snails avoid the nemotods because they don't burrow in soil like slugs.  I don't want to put you off because these microscopic creatures really do get rid of slugs (for one breeding season per application), but I found that my garden then became absolutely overrun with snails!  I suppose it was because they no longer had any competition from the slugs?....... You can't win can you?!

I used this product for the first time last year, and had no trouble with plants being eaten at all for the summer from June to August, and my garden appears to have more snails than slugs. Not cheap, but effective, and easy to use, You just mix into a watering can, and water the ground. My wife would not let me keep them in the fridge though.

I have lost the instructions, how much water per nematode packet?

How to use - Take one quarter of the pack contents and add to an 8 litre (2 gallon) watering can fitted with a very coarse rose, fill the can with clean water and mix thoroughly, apply the solution immediately to a quarter of the soil area to be treated, then apply an equal amount of clean water to the treated area. This pack fills 4 watering cans and treats up to 40m2 (50sq yds).  It can also be applied with a garden hose applicator.

how long does it take to kill off the slugs. In other words, how long after applying this is it safe to plant out my seedlings?
