It cuts tomatoes so thin you can see through them. It has a feeling where it seems to grab and slice at the same time. VERY NICE

Got this for my husband who loves to cook sushi at home and he said this knife is great for cutting and nice and sharp.

I use this knife in a professional kitchen and it has held up. It is lighter than expected, has a nice mirror finish in certain light but a dark gradient color in others. The blade came factory sharp and maintained it’s edge. Also included a nice wooden box for storage and a handwritten note from the company. Would recommend for any multi purpose knife or anyone wanting to try Japanese knives and not spend as much.

Decent knife. Is esthetically appeasing, however I own authentic Japanese knifes (order confirmations were in Japanese, and were shipped from Japan) of the brand mentioned in the title/description, I can tell there is a different. This is an "ok" copy, and for the price it's not bad. Edge retention is slacking, I have to hone the edge once a week, I used the knife everyday for vegetables. For the price, if one is looking for a decent, pretty knife for use in the kitchen this is not a bad buy.
