We bought this for the crawl space entrance. Works amazingly well and sits flush with our floor.

I put this handle on my basement trap door which is over 50 lbs. It is holding up fantastic.

Great but the spring is too strong making it hard to open and close.

Purchased this recessed handle for an access door to a cellar crawl space. I particularly like the handle as opposed to a ring since it allows you to get a better grip when opening the access door. The handle and supporting mechanism are rostered into the door so that it is flush with the floor to help prevent tripping

Easy to install good quality

Work well, very sturdy but the black pad insert (to soften the handle closure noise) fell out of both within a few days of installing.

Solid hardware and build. Needed a recessed handle for a drawer build. This handle extends or recesses with a spring action. The movement is firm and robust, but easy and smooth. Hard to explain but it's good. The closure of the handle is quiet with the tiny rubber stopper.Only challenge was installation as there's no template included. However I made out fine tracing the back side inset and cutting out with a RotoZip saw. Also the mounting screws are pretty long, went well through 3/4" plywood. I almost cut off the excess but instead opted to install a backing board plate. Minor items. I would highly recommend this handle, very happy with the product and how it turned out.

We ordered these pulls for our elevator shaft door. My husband removed the spring in the hardware so the pull can fall into the pocket by its gravity, and not stick out into the elevator shaft. So far they work well. We are happy about the product.
