Far End Gear XDU Pathfinder + Mic Single Stereo-to-Mono Noise Isolating Earphone, Reinforced Cord

I am totally deaf in my right ear . Obviously, stereo headphones are a waste of time for me so I wanted something with quality sound , comfortable & sturdy . This delivers . Well packaged & quick delivery. I bought one a few months ago & was really enjoying music without the loss of quality. When I'm getting served or being spoken to i remove it as I cannot hear anything else at all while it's in use . I took it out while at the checkout , not realising I had left it dangling out of my bag , before I knew it there was a wheelchair rolling over the ear bud. Fearing the worst I found that whilst internal wires were visible , when I pushed it back together properly it was still working ! Amazed I sent off for another as back up . If Anything is that good that it can survive my chaotic clumsiness it's worth is worth making sure you've got another .

I use this earphone everyday for work and it is very comfortable. The sound quality is good and it does cancel out background noise well. I would recommend.

I had previously given these a two star rating.. as the set I received did not have any sound output...I sent back and requested a refund which was done..But seller Sport Explore UK e-mailed me to say they would send me a replacement pair free of charge..a very nice gesture..and these work fine and I can say they are very good...So I was just unlucky that the first set were faulty..The seller was excellent at all times at keeping me informed...10 out of 10 for service at all times..Very happy with my purchase and service from seller.

The audio quality is good, ditto microphone, but the cord/wire is very curly and prone to tangling. It looks pretty dreadful when I'm using the earbud for video meetings, not unobtrusive at all. For over £20 one would expect it to be better. Not good value. Update: after several days of trying to straighten the cord I've given up. It really is dreadful and I really wish I hadn't bought this earphone. Twenty quid wasted. Down to 1 star because I won't be using it.

The Single ear option is perfect for me

This headphone is great. It does a good job. But after 13 months of use my sound is turned right up high and I can't hear it. So for a fairly pricy headphone I give it zero points for longivity. Thought it should last longer than this

Works well and for the purpose I got it for. Not sure I like the wire though. It's kinda springy and doesn't go straight like normal wires.

I am not sure why other people are leaving negative reviews. I have only good things to say about this product. The ear piece is just heavy enough and sounds fine for anything you throw at it. The fact that the cord is rigid and coils up is great for car use because it can be wrapped up and put away quickly. The button on the mic portion works great with my phone. By holding down the button for about 3 seconds I can do voice calling, send prompts, answer calls, end calls and it rests in a comfortable place near my lower neck. I have owned other brands that claim to do what this brand does and they were all absolute junk. Cords ripping out, ear pieces falling out, microphone stops working just to name a few. I just ordered a 2nd one because sometimes I use this at work. It's nice to be able to hear what going on in your other ear while listening through the ear piece.

Für alle, die einen kabelgebundenen Mono-Kopfhörer bevorzugen, führt an diesem kein Weg vorbei. Die Sound-Qualität, die Geräuschunterdrückung, das Handling des sich nicht verwurschtelnden Kabels, alles überzeugt zu 100%. Habe mehrere dieser Kopfhörer an verschiedenen Stellen im Einsatz, die machen (fast) alles schadlos mit und halten ein zigfaches gegenüber Modellen anderer Hersteller aus. Einfach nur gut - und hoffentlich noch lange verfügbar!
