I have been using this product for hmmm... almost 10 years people! This shade is not too tan, not too yellow or muddy.. it's matte and not too heavy yet not too lightweight. There is spf 15 in it and I can use it for work and for going out. I spotcheck it on my blemishes and voila my acne scars are gone.. I feel like I have no makeup on when I use this. I will be buying this for as long as bella pierre makes it. This is a brand that no one really talks about like ever! And I am surprised.. I've used other powder foundation - even the bare minerals doesn't have the right 'shade' for my neutral tan sometimes golden skin. This just camoflauges into my skin and makes it look so smooth, clear and almost perfect (it is not a full-coverage)... I love the blur effect it gives after it's set. When I set it with banana powder after i put my undereye concealer it looks flawless. So I'd say take the chance and try it.. If you don't like it then Amazon has a great return policy.

I was first introduced to Bella Pierre as I was walking through a mall and it was being sold at a kiosk and a sales girl who worked there stopped me. I bought this foundation originally from there. When it ran out I bought it on amazon because it's difficult to find stores that sell this brand, and the kiosk where I first bought it no longer existed. In the past I have tried mineral based cosmetics such as the Bare Minerals brand, and had varying degrees of success with their products. Although I prefer Bare Minerals blush and their finishing powder called mineral veil, in my opinion Bella Pierre foundation is FAR superior to the foundation made by Bare Minerals. First of all it works EXTREMELY well as a spot concealer, it doesn't rub off on clothes as easily as Bare Minerals and it lasts all day with minimal maintenance. This is by far the best mineral foundation I have ever tried. It is also much cheaper here on amazon than you can find it for retail sale, assuming you even can find it in stores. Try it! You won't regret it! I also advise you invest and buy their concealer brush, kabuki brush and face primer. Those products used in conjunction with this foundation REALLY make a difference and your skin will look flawless!

I first started using this product close to six years ago, after finding a trial kit of it at TJ Maxx which included a really good quality Kabuki brush, which has held up perfectly through constant use and cleanings without noticing the loss of any bristles. Anyway, that small jar lasted over a year, then I searched diligently to find more without success... UNTIL AMAZON! And the price isn't too bad, considering how long it lasts. However, in December of 2017 when I first found it on Amazon it was $17 for this same size jar, and has shot up to $45, which is a ridiculous rate of inflation on any product, and the reason I gave it 4 stars 🌟. So I was super excited when the product popped up on my screen while shopping Amazon which included a $25 coupon. Hell yeah!!! I've said all that to explain the reason why I will pay even the regular price for this product: Though it's considerably more expensive than the original bareMinerals Foundation which is about $35 at most retailers, it's worth it because it's a much better product for dry skin than bareMinerals is. And I would imagine that would be true for all skin types. bareMinerals goes on my skin thicker or cakier even using the same amount and same brush than bellapierre Mineral Foundation which gives a far more natural appearance. After allowing my Origins Perfect World moisturizer to sink in, I apply this and it locks in the moisture, without even having the appearance of wearing makeup. Yet, it covers the imperfections in my skin, i.e. age spots and occasional blemishes. And the best part is it stays on and doesn't rub off onto your phone the way liquid foundation does, even when face powder is applied over it. Believe me, I've tried them all, but this is the best product by far... for my skin anyway.

I love this stuff. I have very red skin and usually need full-coverage foundation to hide it. I found this on Groupon and bought the trial kit when my sensitive skin was needing a lighter option on bad days. It covers very well, stays on (as long as I’m not heavily sweating), and doesn’t irritate my skin. My tips for application: Moisturize beforehand! It has a slight sheen, which can make imperfections look larger. As long as I moisturize, it sits nicely on my skin. Also, use a mattifying powder on top to minimize the above-mentioned issue or if you find it looks too shiny. Lastly, it’s messy. It’s loose powder, what can you expect? However, I personally feel like loose powder covers better and is easier to apply and manage. I just make sure to apply before I put my clothes on and do it over the sink so I can wipe it down afterwards.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this foundation! I first discovered this brand in the mall when I got suckered into a free demo and they convinced me to buy it (over $200 for the set I bought). So of course I found it on Amazon for MUCH cheaper! It is very good quality and lasts all day. I have pretty bad skin and this covers everything and makes my skin look flawless. I use this everyday and it lasts about 2 months or so. I would definitely recommend buying the kabooki BellaPierre foundation brush to apply it with, it makes a huge difference. And for those of you who bought the contouring kit from Groupon, I truly believe that kit was NOT a true BellaPierre product! I bought it too because I knew the brand and have been using it for years and it seemed like a good deal but that stuff was terrible! Don't let that bad experience fool you! You will be missing out on a great buy! Highly Recommend!

This was my 2nd time trying Bellapierre cosmetics. My first pick turned out to be too light for my complexion so I went 2 shades darker. My 2nd choice looked very brown for me, but it was perfect. I applied just a small amount of the powder to start with, but it was enough to cover my entire face. It blends very smooth covering dark spots and redness easily without applying extra to even my complexion. Feels like nothing on my face, as I can usually feel even light powders on my face. I kept the lighter shade I first picked, as it was light and a bit yellowish. That will work great to brighten up around my eyes. I'm very happy with this product!

This mineral powder is light as air makes you feel beautiful . It last all day. It goes on so smooth, and gives your skin a beautiful glow . A little mineral powder goes a long way it is well worth the price

This is a great concealing powder, both for undereyes and blemishes. However, I dislike this as an overall foundation, on several levels. (1) Packaging --- Even though the container has a locking sifter, the setup is still very messy because it doesn't lock cleanly. The powder is also tightly clumped in the container so it doesn't come out easily. I would definitely look into buying a reusable loose powder container for storing the loose powder in -- there are quite a few cheap options available on Amazon. (2) Finish --- I have combination skin. After applying this foundation, my dry areas felt "tight" (a common characteristic of very matte foundations) but my oily areas were not significantly mattified. (3) Color --- Ultra is far more yellow-toned than the product listing shows (which was good for a concealer, but does not reflect well on the product listing). As my photo shows, Ultra swatches as a shimmery mustardy yellow (right; Tarte BB tinted primer in fair for reference)
