Teeccino Mediterranean Herbal Coffee, Medium Roast Caffeine Free Vanilla Nut - 11 oz

If you’re like me and sensitive to caffeine (makes me nervous, gives me heartburn) then this is the perfect drink. Not only is it delicious but it contains food for your friendly gut bacteria too! Yes it’s not cheap but it’s way better to drink this than coffee, even if you aren’t caffeine sensitive. Let’s not forget the caffeine in coffee is addictive, stimulates acid production, interferes with sleep and increases blood pressure yet most of us drink at least a small dose of it, day in day out. Do yourself a favour. Go teeccino!

Naturally sweet and mild coffee alternative

I was not sure what to expect but following my friend’s recommendation, I tried it and have not looked back. I used to drink one cup of black coffee daily but wanted to reduce my caffeine intake. Since drinking this with some decaf coffee, I have reduced my caffeine intake almost immediately. I drink it with honey or sometimes with a vanilla syrup. I love the fact I can drink it late at night without being kept awake at night. This is my go-to drink now.

It can indeed help you replace coffee intake. The taste however is quite intense and does not resemble real coffee that much. However, it tastes really good and I particularly enjoy it as a relacement for a freddo cappucino, where the difference in taste is not that significant. It helped me give up the extra coffee in the afternoon and after lunch. And it does indeed reduce the acidity of coffee.

It's expensive, but worth it (to me.)

Am just having my first cup as I write this and it's delicious. I would say it might actually be a bit nicer than coffee. I was looking for a bulletproof coffee replacement because of gastritis and this seems to be a great replacement. It's particularly nice topped with cream.

Considering some of the reviews I’ve seen saying this is quite sweet, this is a lot more bitter than I was expecting. I’ll have to try with less grounds and more water and see if that helps

Pleasant smooth flavour. I enjoy it with a drop of almond milk. It's alkaline and doesn't cause heartburn like regular coffee.

I cannot find an expiry date on the package

To me this one has a slight coconut after-taste, must be the vanilla. Hazelnut is my favourite, with Java next favourite.
