BRITA Dolce 3020 3 Way Water Filter Dispenser

Happy I installed this: no more plastic waste with bottles , no more waiting for the drip-through filter, well tasting, filtered water when I need it! The quality and make of the tap is excellent, great design, beautiful finish. The flow rate through the filter is great. We used the Brita drip filter for years and were satisfied, but this is just so much more convenient. The tase of the water is great, removes all chlorine etc. Also the scaling of the kettle and coffee machine is recognizable lower. Replacement filters are not cheap, the unit itself is not cheap, but you get a well made, well designed tap. And in the end you get filtered water still for much less than bottled. Installation is easy, but if you are not sure about what you are doing, ask a plumber, it should not take him more than 20-30minutes. Only drawback: the two adapter pieces are plastic, they seem solid, still I replaced mine with brass.

Great tap, bought it due to my American Fridge (which dispensed filtered water) breaking and needed an easy way to dispense filtered water and didn't want to replace the fridge. The tap is perfect, good quality tap and easy to fit, I was a little dubious given the comments regarding the European fittings, but I am fortunate enough to have a brother who is a plumber, even so and despite me relaying the customer feedback regarding fitting, it was quick and easy to fit, he said I could have easily done it myself as everything I needed came in the box. His advice to anyone fitting one themselves is the instructions say the connectors are to be hand tight, just make sure it's as tight as you can get it by hand, and when in position, give them one last check before switching the water back on. I would definitely recommend this product, worth every penny.

Ok, a very good tap, so far. I have read mixed reviews in the past about them leaking, but mine is fine so far, but its only been installed just over a week. I do have one significant gripe though - I ordered this expecting it to be a fully UK compliant tap - it came from Italy with European sized connections which meant that I had to spend a further £20 in a local plumbers merchants to get the parts necessary to connect from a Euro spec to a UK spec. There is also a slight concern in that even my specialist plumbers merchants, when they looked at the tap, advised that they wouldn't stock spares or replaccement parts if anything failed - this is very poor - whilst Amazon can sell goods from international retailers, surely as an item for sale to the UK market the product should be spec'd for a UK consumers - particularly with plumbing items where sizes and connections vary between Europe and the UK?

We've had a basic water filter system in place for years but the tap needed replacing and the old filters were fiddly to replace. Also, because we live in a very hard water area we used the Brita filter jug to reduce hardness.( Less scum on tea and coffee.) We noticed that this system not only reduces contaminants such as chlorine but also hardness in the drinking water. It's only been installed for a few weeks but so far so good. Our plumber installed it in about an hour and charged £40. I used to do this sort of thing myself but unfortunately I can no longer crawl under the sink for long periods. The tap looks good, drinking water tastes good and there is no scum on my tea. Also, I suspect that when the filter needs changing I will find it much easier to replace the cartridge than I did with my old system. One thing though: I suspect it will be more expensive to run than the old system we used. As mentioned we live in a very hard water area so the water softening function will be lost very quickly. You set the water hardness on installation and get 1 year on soft water and only 4 months on very hard water. This is going to cost me £100+ per year as opposed to £70 using Maxtra filters in a water jug. The life of the under sink P1000 filter is indicated by a flashing green light on the filter water side of the tap. It turns orange or red when the filter needs changing. I think the life of the filter is governed by volume passing through the tap: 1200L for soft water setting and only 400L for very hard water.

As a family we tend to drink tap water as opposed to bottled and for this reason we decided to purchase the Brita Tap. The tap came with the offer of free fitting. On delivery of the tap we contacted Brita on the number provided. They arranged for the fitter to attend our home and fit the system, which was done quickly and without any problems or fuss. Since fitted the tap and filter is used daily, it is a pleasure to use and drink the improved water. I would suggest every house should have one. The cost of the replacement filters may appear expensive but they work out a lot cheaper than buying bottle water over the same period. An excellent product which I would recommend.

We were impressed with the tap initially having previously used the Brita jug. We liked the ease of just turning the tap on and not constantly having to refill the jug. As a mechanical engineer I installed the tap myself quite easily. However after only 4 months of use it has developed a fault. There is an internal leak between the filtered and non filtered lines on the tap, water comes out of both spouts at the same time now when in use. This is disappointing and not what you expect after such a short time in service. I will look for spares online and hopefully be able to sort the issue out.

Given it 3 stars because the cartridges are expensive but the product is very good.

Le produit est défectueux , fuite du robinet filtre . Je suis en attente depuis une semaine d’une solution proposée par le vendeur.... Très decue

Usavo i Brita per le caraffe già da molti anni per filtrare l'acqua (a Roma, ricca di calcare e cloro) ed evitarci il carico di bottiglie. In occasione della ristrutturazione della cucina ho installato questo gruppo. Che dire, un salto di qualità e di comodità! Sull'estetica nulla da dire, per un arrendamento stile moderno. Solo un piccolo appunto al sistema di fissaggio al lavello, che avrei preferito un pò più robusto, per un braccio relativamente pesante (dato che c'è il doppio tubo dentro). Il timer è comodo per ricordarsi di cambiare il filtro. Nel complesso, da consigliare.

Rubinetto eccezionale. Solido, robusto ma al tempo stesso con una linea molto elegante. passiamo al filtraggio: dopo aver sostituito il primo filtro difettoso ora funziona a dovere. è essenziale regolare l'acqua in base ai risultati del test incluso nella confezione. montaggio molto semplice. servizio Amazon 6 stelle.

Installation assez simple si vous avez les outils pour monter et démonter un robinet. Attention la cartouche est très grosse, plus que je le pensais. Très efficace pour l'instant, l'eau est bien filtrée. Le robinet est plutôt sobre et joli. Un peu cher mais cela évite d'acheter de l'eau du robinet. Suffit juste d'acheter 2-3 bouteilles en verre.
