Great little camera. Bought it for a trip to Panama and it worked out great. Easy to use and turned out great pictures. It is light weight and transfers pictures easily via wireless. Much nicer to carry this around on tours where we don’t want to risk losing our phones for pictures. Really impressed as there are other cameras 4x the price that just seemed too expensive. Highly recommend

I love this camera I was a little hesitant at first but for what it’s priced I think it’s worth it. The pictures of me and my friends turned out great and if you see the video down below it is waterproof that’s what I was most scared about. The battery life honestly is decent. I charged it for like a hour and 30 mins and It stayed on for abt 4-5 hours but I also kept turning it after I stopped taking photos. The shutter speed is a little slow. But I will say this is a good starter camera for people who are starting to get into photography, I have experience with cameras so I already knew what I was getting into. It’s pretty durable too if you’re clumsy and go on a lot of hikes/trips. Lastly I didn’t realize it didn’t come with a SD card so you will have to buy that separate. I also don’t like when you take a video on the camera it sounds crunchy when it’s on the camera but once you download it to your phone, the quality of the sound gets better so I was glad abt that. it’s so much easier to transfer photos because it has a built in Wi-Fi instead of using a USB to transfer photos/videos too. But besides all that I love this camera and I’m abt to take it on my camp trip soon!

I’m in love with this camera! It takes dreamy pictures and it’s also waterproof so I take it to my beach trips! Or regular trips! It’s wonderful! I’ll leave some pictures taken by my camera with no edition needed 📷

Things I learned about this camera: 1. It’s the most durable camera I own. I let my younger siblings (they’re toddlers) use it and it doesn’t have any damages after being roughed up. I’ve taken it on a boat and dunked it in the water. I’ve used this on nights where I get drunk and I don’t want to risk my other expensive cameras and it’s survived that too. 2. The speed of the camera isn’t the fastest. So depending on how you intend to use it, it might not be the one for you. 3. I love how it’s compact, and how I can slip it into my purse or my boyfriend’s jacket pocket. 4. There can be a bit of a learning curve to figure out the right settings or functions to get a good picture. But some of my favorite pics came from this camera. 5. One thing I don’t like about this camera is that it’s hard to see the screen when in direct sunlight. So it’s not really functional when you’re using it in harsh lighting. I’d recommend this to someone who wants to learn how to adjust their camera settings or for someone who isn’t too pressed about camera quality and wants to be able to get decent pictures casually for the memories.

I wanted an easy-to-use camera to capture family vacation in the Bahamas, including snorkeling in the ocean and swimming in a water park. This camera performed surprisingly well taking descent photos in a variety of conditions over a week of intense use. Hardware: Self-contained waterproof camera rather than a traditional camera with a water proof case. Reasonable LCD although not the highest resolution. I was pleasantly surprised that digital images actually were crisper when viewing later on a phone or computer as opposed to on the camera screen. Ease of use: Take some time to get to know how to change modes from underwater to action shots before diving into the ocean. The menus are not easy to navigate on the fly if you are not prepared. Also the screen can be a bit hard to see underwater. Particularly while swimming, I took lots of photos and went back later to see how well I got the shot as opposed to looking at the image on the LCD. Photo quality: Attached a few photos of different lighting/photography conditions. For the most part, I was going for underwater photos. On sunny days, these water photos had good quality and the camera did well with autofocus. Lower light conditions in seaweed and rain gave rather muted murky photos. I had not expected to use the camera as much above water and was pleasantly surprised that this worked well in action mode for water slides and tubing. I did not take videos (save one of sharks) though there is the capability in the camera menus. Battery: Here is my one complaint! The battery that came with the camera has a small capacity 800 mAh. I used the small-capacity 800 mAh battery on the first day, and the camera seemed sluggish and slow to respond underwater. I had purchased a 1200 mAh battery with charger mostly to avoid having to charge the camera with a cable rather than charging the batteries (personal preference): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CMWHFMDX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 . These large-capacity 1200 mAh batteries seemed to make all the difference being able to take a full day of photos and having a better camera response time. Either low or high capacity battery, don't expect this to respond quickly like a DSLR. The Kodak is much more like early days of point and shoot digital cameras in an underwater version.

This camera was a disappointment straight out of the box. It would not format with the microSD cards that Kodak says this camera was compatible with. You have to find a smaller than 32gb that is an older type of mocroSD card that is actually quite difficult to track down. Went thru 3 different types of "compatible" sd cards with this before finally finding one that worked and being able to use the camera a week after I received it. Then it got more disappointing. I purchased this camera with the intention of being able to quickly capture pics of my family and kids without having my phone in my hands constantly. Going for the unplugged experience. This camera is horrible quality, takes extremely washed out lack luster photos and wont focus to save your life. The flash is on all the time, even when I turn it off, it automatically turns back on. This causes the battery to not last long. I took photos with this camera, then took the same shot on my Galaxy 24 ultra and my partners Google Pixel 10 and the cell phones blow this camera out of the water. My 2005 sony coolpix took better photos than this! Over priced junk!

This Kodak waterproof camera surprised me in the best way. It’s sturdy, lightweight, and perfect for beaches, pools, and outdoor activities. The image quality is clear for both photos and videos, and it handles underwater shots much better than I expected. The buttons are easy to use, even when wet, and the battery life lasts through a full day of exploring. If you want an affordable and reliable camera for vacations or adventure days, this one is a great choice.

So far the Kodak Pixpro WPZ2 has been working as expected. It takes decent snapshots. The accompanying image is downsized from 4608x3456 to 900x675 pixels. So, it really doesn't represent the possible resolution. but shows the color and contrast. It has a nice wide angle default image and somewhat decent optical zoom to 4X. As it is with most digital devices, going beyond that into digital zoom isn't valuable to me. It comes with a brief starter manual. You can easily find the full manual online to unlock all of the capabilities.. I added a cheap plastic screen protector for the back because the glass is pretty exposed. I'd say that with an inexpensive 32 gig microSD memory card and a second battery, you'd be pretty set to take a week's worth of photos on a trip. I generally don't do much with videos but they are ok for this sort of camera. One issue with the features is that the Wifi is for connecting to a cell phone app to show pictures via your phone. From what I've found, I can't simply download images to my PC with the camera's Wifi. It has a supplied USB cord for that or you can transfer them from the memory card. So, the two shots are unaltered. One is wide angle and the other is full 24X of the same building. Another issue is that the protective glass over the lens can very easily get a greasy fingerprint on it. So, if you can find some kind of lens cap, it would be a good addition. Added 2/14/25 We took this camera on our recent cruise and I had a chance to take some underwater shots in underwater mode. Some photos included.

La amoooo! Ya llevo un mes probandola, le funciona bien el flash (aveces funciona y aveces no porque depende la configuración en la que la uses! Y siempre que cambies de configuración checa que este activado el flash) . Ya la probé en albercas y incluso en un borbollon, me falta la playa, pero la camara funcionó excelente bajo el agua! Es facil de llevar a todos lados! Y su calidad es genial. Enserio prueben todas las configuraciónes de la cámara para que puedan tomar increíbles fotos!
