Excellent Quality
The china set is gorgeous. They are so shiny. Really big dinner plates. It was the perfect accent for the Holidays. They came out of the dishwasher shiny and clean. They are microwaveable. Although we have not used over 2 minutes in the microwave.

In a class of its own!
I am a big supporter of Mikasa, I have two other dinnerware sets and silverware from them too. Obviously, this being a Christmas set, I can't really comment on the sturdiness and durability, but I am sure I will be using this set at Christmas time for years to come. It's a very nice and colorful set, and it's a Mikasa!

Beautiful....but
Opened the second 4 place set today to check for breakage, chips etc. everything was good except one of the salad plates has grey rough scuff marks in several places on the bottom of the plate. Won't scrub off.If they could just send me 1 new salad plate that would be good, but not returning the whole set for that.If not for that, I'd give it 5 stars. It is very beautiful.

Exquisite Christmas bone china dinnerware set from Mikasa!
Inspected everything and all exceeded my expectations. Quality, beauty, elegance, durability, microwaveability, and value for money are what came to my mind. All checked off! The dinner plates are big, and the cups are just perfect. I think the entire set is better looking in person than in picture.

Such good quality
I love love these plates and mugs they are so fancy. I will use all month long. Color is bright red as Christmas should be. Nice lip on the side of dishes so nothing falls off.mikasa has outdone themselves amazing.
