Wonderful Wundaweb
What can you say about wundaweb, except that it's an amazingly effective and easy-to-use product? People know what it does and how good it is. If they don't, they're not going to be persuaded by a review. I use it a lot, having a 30in inside leg when trousers are usually 29 or 31. If I put them in for alteration, one pair would probably cost me about ยฃ6. This stuff is ridiculously inexpensive and is good for many pairs. But just try finding it in the shops. Like I say, this won't persuade anyone to go out and buy it in bulk. But I've just used it, and decided to give it some recognition.

Good pruduct if know how to use.
It's good quality. Bought two trousers few inch long. Made them shorter I think the magic is how you use it first. Cover all area then cut small pieces for extra support then iron probably. Check after 10 mins if any part lose put in more tape in lose area if there is then iron that area and leave for 10 mins. Common sense. But only problem I had was quantity should of been bit more nothing to do with seller.

Easy to use and effective
I purchased this Wundaweb for my son's school trousers as they are always too long but I'm not very good at sewing. I also used it on my work trousers as one of my hems had got caught on my shoe and had been pulled down. I found it really easy to use. You just cut a strip off to fit the entire way around the hem, fold the hem and crease, place inside the folded hem until completely covered, cover with a damp cloth then press firmly over the damp cloth with a hot dry iron for at least 10 seconds until the cloth is dry - use a pressing action, not an ironing action. Move along the hem and repeat until dry. It has held both mine and my son's trousers perfectly in place and hasn't washed out or become unstuck. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who hates sewing and where all else has failed as this one actually works.

An 'iron' grip!
I am an sewing-incompetent male! This stuff is very cheap so it's definitely worth a go. It has stuck with an iron grip so far, and I found it fairly easy to position with a few pins. It could be used on the premise that you hem initially with Wundaweb and then have a go at stitching over it if you want, or simply use it to buy time before a helpful sewing friend can do the 'proper' job. Durability seems good however - the garment has undergone several washes. The application, while simple, has some specific requirements (like damp cloth - and I know some modern glues are triggered by damp..) and just maybe less successful applications have not taken all these into account...

Easy and pain free hemming!
What a wonderful invention, Wundaweb certainly makes life easier! I have three school age children of my own and foster another two, this means that there always seems to be trousers, skirts or dresses to be shortened ... and I absolutely hate sowing, but I absolutely love Wundaweb. Simple to use and as long as you have access to an iron, ironing board, tape measure and a pair of scissors you cannot really go wrong. The idea is to place a length of Wundaweb under the folded hem of the item you are shortening, then with a damp cloth in place press the hem with a hot iron, and there you are, job done. If there is a downside at all it's the fact that after a number of washes you may find that you have to repeat the above steps, still that is a small price to pay for such easy and pain free hemming.
