5 year old loves it. Easy to use, looks good, and my dad says the accuracy is great. Haha definitely fun and lives up to the nerf gun standard. I’d buy again.

My kids love this. The charging handle was a bit difficult for them at first, but it loosened up after a while. The darts are soft enough to not injure any small children or pets who might get in the way.

We purchased two of these as Christmas gifts for our 3 and 4 year old. Unfornately, it was too difficult for our 3 year old to pull back but our 4 year old has no problem at all. We ended up purchasing the Nerf Junior Elite Racer gun for our daughter and when she's ready she will upgrade back to this one. The guns are easy to aim and my son can hit fairly accurately with it. They easily shoot about 15ft. Our kids play with them almost daily. I am impressed with both the quality and affordability. One of the least expensive gifts we gave our kid for Christmas and probably the most loved. We will be restocking on bullets soon!

I bought these for my daughter and nephew this summer for playing around the house. These things are super fun. The kids love them and they're easy for them to use. I will say that we needed to set firm ground rules to not aim for the face because they shoot really well. Easy reach from room to another. Overall great by. Good quality. So far they've lasted several months of kid abuse and holding up great.

My son got this for his 4th birthday. As a mom, I love the price. It is a great little nerf gun, but my son struggles to pull back the charging handle so the gun can fire. Thankfully, we got another nerf gun that he can fire more easily. I know he will quickly grow into this little nerf gun though as he practices, but it has caused some frustration as he struggles right now.

I bought these for my spouse and I to have surprise NERF gun battles around the house. Let me tell you - there is nothing greater than seeing a grown man run and hide while trying to aim and try and hit you with a NERF gun. Hilarious - much better as an adult

At last, I found some Nerf guns that my four year old grandson can use, and wouldn't you know it? That these are actually NERF brand. Anyway, my grandson just turned four years old last week. But he loves things like this. The trouble is, he has been unable to cock his guns so he keeps shooting them, then coming to us to cock them every time. I bought 8 different gun models, trying to find something that he could cock himself, but everything was just too hard for him to use. And then I found this one! The action is very easy and he loves to be able to do it himself now. So, I recommend these guns, especially if you have a real "young un" at home.

This nerf gun was easily manipulated by adults and kids. The trigger is easy to pull and the darts go in with ease. These are so much fun to have wars with; kids vs adults. The accuracy is on point too.

Purchased as a gift for a 4yo. It is easier to use then the other Nerf but it is still a bit tricky for him to pull back independently but I think this will get better with time and using it more, especially in the summer.

This was the perfect entry level nerf gun for my son(he was 6 when we gave it to him). Perfect fit his little fingers. Easy to hold, not too heavt, easy to load. I highly recommend if you are looking for something for a younger child. This is such a better choice than one of those larger more complicated nerf guns. Quick story...we went to a NYE party and the boys who lived there had the more expensive, larger nerfs, and at first my son was upset he didn't have one like theirs. But, when trying to use them it became clear why the one I bought him is best for little kids. The bigger ones were almost impossible for my son to hold, so heavy! They were also very very complicated, so many switches and triggers and moving parts. And they jammed, a lot. We would load them, shoot one and the thing would jam. The boys who owned those nerfs said they jammed pretty much everytime they tried to use them and they were so complicated to load that they never played with them. My son came home and said "mommy, I'm glad you got me this nerf gun, it's so easy to shoot and it never breaks!" Sweet boy.
