Galil Shredded Halva – Original Halva Candy Floss – Kosher, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Vegan Halva 8.8 Ounce

I love halva and buy them from a specialty grocer near my work regularly. I was curious about the texture since I had only tried solid block halva.It was fun eating the shredded ones. I used chopsticks like noodles. It was easier to put it on bread since it was already shredded. However, it's quite pricy. I don't think I will purchase it again because of the cost.

It isn’t hair like at all, like it’s supposed to be. It looks like water got into it and it’s hard as a brick.Doesn’t look fresh and this is not the quality I’m used to. Also doesn’t look like the picture

So delicious, I have to be careful not to just eat the whole package

So the first time I purchased this it was Delicious. I had never had Halva with this texture before. easy to separate into strands. arrived fast.We reordered - got a product in different packaging that was falling apart and looks like someone had treated it very roughly. so I came back and took off a star.

I have had string halava many time its light and fluffy ( almost like cotton candy)When we open the box it looks like it got wet emailed seller- got no answer.

I bought this as a gift for a friend because she loves the texture of shredded halva. She likes this brand's taste and it is easily accessible on Amazon because you can't find this at most stores. The value for money is okay compared to the upcharge you see in NYC at some stores for kosher certified halva.The quality is not the best though compared to when you buy in store; it is slighly melted/wet and not as fresh.
