CanonCl-51/pg-50 Combo

I buy these because the Amazon price is better than what I can get in the local office supply stores. I bought the 50 & 51 because they hold more ink than the 40's or 30's offered. They work wonderfully with my Canon MX30 Pixma printer. They are very easy to open and install. I've never tried any other compatible ink because these work so well that I don't care to experiment with other cheaper brands.

I can't honestly tell you how many more prints you get with this over the smaller inks but the price difference isn't to bad. The amazon price isn't always be the best price either. Check at your local officer stores and big box retailers like Costco if your looking to save a few dollars. If your looking to save time, this is the way to go. It's normally always part of prime and so you should not ever actually run out.

I'm one of those people who hates running out of ink too soon, and having to buy the expensive replacements. So now that they have these available that contain more ink, and a lower cost per oz. than the regular product, it's a win/win. A lower cost per sheet and fewer runs to the store (or Amazon) per year to get more ink.

Products are the orginal OEM packaged products at a the best price I could find. Especially a bargin when you consider that these are the highest volume ink cartridges for my MX-310 Printer as compared to the -30/31 and -40/41s. The PG-50 and CL-51 are packaged individually, I could not find it as a prepackaged combo. Still a great combo for an awesome price.

Since I have become adept at making beautiful greeting card on my printer, I chew up these cartridges frequently. I would love to find better prices, but I will not use anything but the original Canon cartridges to keep my old Canon Pixma printer working smoothly. My printer has never clogged in about 5 years using the original cartridges.

Did not come in original package as shown and the black ink cartridge is completely empty

What can I say. For almost 20 years I have been buying these type of cartridges. They work GREAT, printer puts out images and text like the day I bought it, so no complaints. I tried remanufactured once, could not get a decent test print out of it. So I pony up +$60 for a set every time I need one. We go through two or three sets a year.Recently bought a refill kit. We shall see.

I have a love hate relationship with my Canon MX310. This printer does every task well and is simple and intuitive to operate. I may in time buy an HP just because Walgreen's has cheap $12 refills however nobody has $12 refils for any Canon. As long as I have this printer I'll use this ink supplier for it's good service and product's.
