A good product for wound care and a much better price than offered at our local pharmacy.

I used the Nexcare Tegaderm Waterproof Transparent Dressing to keep a glucose sensor in place and it worked wonders. I have used a glucose sensor for over 3 years and, sometimes, the adhesive on the sensor fails doe to sweat during certain activities, causing the sensor to fall and having to be replaced. The Tegaderm patch has helped me keep the sensor in place in many occasions. The waterproof adhesive works wonders even during the most rigorous activities and, in turn, I save a lot of money on sensors as well.

I have tried many dressings and bandages for an ankle wound, and this is the most effective one I have found. It is pretty tricky to handle it, place it directly over the wound, and smoothly and evenly apply it, especially on a curved part of the body like the ankle, but it gets easier with a little practice. (However, each application is so expensive that you won't want to waste too many on "practicing.") Although the material is very thin and comfortable once applied, I have found it to be somewhat fragile, making it a bit difficult sometimes to keep it in place for very long while wearing a sock, for instance. Also, it is definitely waterproof, but vulnerable to peeling off in the shower or bath. Nonetheless, this product offers much broader and lasting coverage than any other bandage I have experienced, and it is easy to remove. I would definitely recommend it for the secure, pain-free protection that it offers, and for its relative durability. It provides exceptional protection for curved surfaces of the body like the ankle.

These are a must to have in your home first aid kit! They are waterproof and large and protect any injury, surgical incision, or cut or scrape! A must have!

My daughter is 13 and has an estragon patch due to a condition she has. It is changed weekly. It kept falling off after showering. These have stopped that. We put the patch on, cover it with this and it stays all week. Easy to use. They dont hurt coming off either.

I originally got these to try because my child is allergic to plastic adhesive bandages (which is all the kids type ones) these work fantastic to heal and prevent deep scaring and no allergic reaction! Im always hesitant when removing because I feel like it will stick to the injury (its all sticky on the back) but it doesn't!

In my hunt for something to keep my Dexcom sensor from falling off my body, this was my second purchase for an item of this kind. It has been 8 days, and the bandage is just now starting to curl on one edge. I haven't sweated it off yet, which was the problem I'd been having with the sensors, nor have I broken out from the adhesive. There has been a little bit of itching, but not like other products I've used on the past. The first item I tried caused some sort of a surface burn on my skin and irritated my skin something terrible. I haven't had the problem with these.I like my showers hot, and I work out in my yard a great deal, and these have held up to both. I didn't use anything special other than the sensor overlay and this bandage. I have some Skin-tac but I held off on using it to see if it would hold on it's own, it has done the job just fine. If you are having issues with your sensors falling off, then give this bandage a try. They are a little pricey, but if they work, I'm willing to pay for it.
