Very accurate!
I bought this for archery and rifle shooting. i tested it by using google maps and google earth out of the box to prove distances before i went shooting. The result was bang on! Superb bit of kit for the price, in fact just a great bit of kit!

Good for golf and simple to use
The Range Finder arrived well packaged and has its own zipped case along with usb c charging cable and lens cloth.I wanted to give myself a better chance on the golf course - and being a professional novice, was told these are a great help for distances. So far this has worked well but it will be sometime before I can honestly say this is improving my game. It does give me more confidence and it is easy to use. It is much smaller than I expected and fairly well made. the supplied instructions are a bit vague but it is so easy to use, you just need to make sure it is fully charged with the usb c cable before taking out. Operation wise, there are just two buttons and lens (eyepiece adjustment) to focus. The on button gives you the internal display and when tapped a second time will give a reading. The mode button switches from imperial to metric. It automatically switches off when not in use for around 15 secs. The manufacturer states that it is within half a yard and has 6x range. I have nothing to go by to check apart from a GPS on my watch which I do not think is accurate enough as the watch can sometimes be out too. The holes where I can see the flags at tee off look approx the same distance as marked.the unit is much smaller than I originally thought and fits into my palm very comfortably.I quite like this unit but at £89.99 (with £20 off voucher applied) at time of this review, it does come in quite expensive, if you are just looking at this for golf.

Spot on
The media could not be loaded. I've used it, seems to be accurate. When compared to my GPS watch and known yardages on my home course, this thing hasn't been wrong yet.The view is magnified so the slightest tremor will cause big wobblies through the eyepiece.Press a button and crosshairs appear. Press it again and it tells you how far the bit in the crosshair is. This will more than likely be a leaf or whatever is in the backgound of your view. Get the crosshairs roughly on the flag and press and hold the button and you'll be rewarded with a vibration as it "locks on" to the flag! And hey presto, it tells you how far away that flag is. For the money, is a bit expensive. It might lock on to the wrong object once in a while but you'd have to be pointing it at a thin vertical item resembling a flag within view of the flag you're trying to get the range for. You soon figure out how to avoid this. Excellent tool for any golfer.Good quality and performances. Thank you

As a keen Archer, this is perfect
The media could not be loaded. This unit works great for my archery, used with multiple bows(see pics), from “traditional” to “cross”, mid to long range, this has proven more accurate than me.So I really like the aesthetic of this range finder, its rubberised body not only gives it protection from drops and bangs, but with its “Camo” aesthetic with matte finish, and subtle design flares in white, it simply looks great, and fits perfectly with some of my “outdoors archery” gear. The eye piece also has a rubberised finish, and a decent sized lens to view through, it’s very clear and offers adjustable focus, which I find works great, because my left and right eye don’t have the same vision, but I’ve found no matter which eye I choose to use, this can compensate for it with adjusting. Now I did try to film this when I was out, but both times it was raining, and whilst this worked great with no problems, bar perhaps the odd obvious anomalous reading due to rain, but my skills with my phone filming, and even my phone filming, I just couldn’t mange it, but the actual range finder was great. So I used this over a weekend for both days, about 10(ish)hours each day, and the battery was still fine, I didn’t charge it until I got home. One function of this that I did find to be exceptionally accurate was the “Angle measurement”, I had noticed how accurate it was, so decided to try it up against one of my angle measures in my garage, and found it to be as accurate as I thought it was, and as an archer that is a great piece of information to have, angle-compensated distance helps no end. There are only 2 buttons situated on the top of this unit to operate it, which makes it easy to use in the field when holding other gear. The size, shape and grip, this unit offers, means I can operate it one handed, which means I can hold my bow in the other. Now whilst this comes with quite a nice little hard case, I’ve found that it’s size makes it easy for me to slip it in and out of my pocket whilst on the move, then once finished I do return it to the case for proper transport to keep it safe. The hard case is decent quality and does offer a reasonable amount of protection, also it has a belt loop and mini carabiner which work well, I haven’t used the carabiner but I do keep the case/pouch on the back of my belt(tactical) for use when putting away for longer periods, and the loop fits just enough to make it a nicely held in place case/pouch.All in all, not only is this well made, with great functionality, the compact nature of it means it’s not in the way when on my belt, in my pocket, or even in a compartment in my traditional archery “back” or “thigh”quiver.I’m very happy to have this in my kit.

Neat compact device which seems to work very well
This is a very interesting thing to try out because of the concept of having a range finder. The device comes in a protective case which is quite nice. The device itself feels pretty smart and comfortable in hand. It's charged up by USB, and the battery seems to last well and last a day of occasional usage with no problem. There are 2 buttons only, one which is the measure button, and the other is to change measurement mode. The range measurement is rated up to 800yards. I measured something about 500m away no problem. I've been unable to measure anything less than 5m away, though to be fair it's not designed for that.I've measured buildings about 30m away and it seems pretty accurate. The item 630m away seems in the right ballpark, and entirely feasible. There are various modes, including speed capture mode, but I found that a bit tricky to get working. The viewfinder is nicely zoomed in (6x zoom I believe), which is great for viewing things in the distance. In summary, this is a very curious device, and I am really fascinated by it. It seems to work well. At £120 at time of review, it's certainly not cheap, however if you do have use for this, then it is a worth purchase.
