Why did you pick this product vs others?:If you have cast iron skillets, you will love this spatula. The main reason I chose this one is the metal runs full length up the handle so there's no chance of the handle bending or breaking off like the last few I tried. The metal is a little thicker and more sturdy so you can press as hard as you want... you can flatten hamburger into shape... and maybe the best part is the end and sides are sharpened so you can scrape any stuck food from your cast iron skillets. No need to scrub and damage the seasoning of your skillet. This spatula is very sturdy so you can flip even the heaviest items without it bending. The handle is secure and well made. Not loose like others I've tried. This is a better value and better quality than the one I paid over twice the price for. I HIGHLY recommend this spatula.

Excellent spatula! We've had a wood-handled spatula for over 20 years but the metal now has a crack in the small neck area. We bought this as a replacement in case the other completely breaks. It is sturdy, well-made, and has a nice weight to it. Very HAPPY to find excellent quality at a good price. We appreciate it comes as a single entity and not trying to be sold with other unnecessary items we are not interested in.

This spatula is well built with a full tang through the handle. Edges are sharp and allows for good scrape and flips on cast iron skillets or steel flat tops. Does have a tendency to get light rust spots but they are easily removable with an eraser sponge.

Very sturdy heavy spatula that I will be using mostly on the barbeque, in which case it could use longer handles. It looks nice but feels a bit heavy for my everyday cookware. Has a sharp edge. It is also good to use with iron skillet. I am keeping it. Wooden handle does not take well to washing in water.It is agood strong tool.

Well its a well-built spatula that works great on the griddle and grill. The size and structure are excellent and sturdy. I use the spatula for most of my breakfast cooking and am very pleased with it. My wife also enjoys using it but she may not be fond of the love taps I give her on the backside when she is harassing me in the kitchen though. Just goes to show you that it actually frees up space in the kitchen as well especially if your have a small kitchen. It is a regular multi-tool in that respect I must admit.. We highly recommend this kitchen helpmate.
