Handpresso Auto Set 48266 Set with 12V portable espresso maker for cars using ESE pods or ground coffee

Absolutely one of our Best Buy's fof r traveling. We were very hesitant to buy due to the cost but after years of suffering French service station coffee decided to take the plunge. Admittedly it's taken a few goes to get it just right to taste but not long and we have it mastered. Bought a brilliant double walled stainless steel bottle to carry extra hot water with us as you do only get a small espresso shot. Means we can make a larger americano without any hassle. So in summary if your thinking about this and the high cost and questioning "is it worth it" I can wholeheartedly say go for it and yes it most certainly is worth it. Only a little practice to get your taste and perfect coffee all the way.

Essential car kit

Fabulous mobile espresso machine. Robust, well made, simple to use and makes hot, excellent coffee. We use Waitrose espresso pods which are reasonable to buy. Extremely happy with this machine.

Wish I had bought this years ago, brilliant piece of kit

Very expensive for what it is. makes a tiny espresso, fiddly and messy. it has leaked hot water on me twice now and the lid was sealed as per its design. it takes longer to make it than drink it. Think I would still have been disappointed if it only cost £50 so at 3 times that amount it hurts.

Ciao, allora rispetto ai miei standard, provo a cimentarmi in una recensione estesa... perchè l'apparecchio acquistato lo merita. - Primo punto la Handpresso da me acquistata le cialde perchè mi piaceva e mi piace l'idea del basso uso della plastica. -Perchè Handpresso... leggete e forse saranno chiari i motivi. -Velocemente, arriva imballata in maniera egregia in uno scatola doppia ben protetta. Aprendola c'è la scatola con il box del set Auto, due cialde di prova della Covim, il mio accessorio extra Portafiltro con i tre filtri all'interno. -Aprendo la scatola c'è la Valigetta del set Auto in cui troviamo la macchina, due bicchierini di plastica con impressa la tacca dei 50ml, le istruzioni, un foglio di spiegazioni rapide, una tovaglietta per usare la macchina in auto e un filtro con la guarnizione gialla (che è rimovibile) per il montaggio nel Portafiltro da caffè personale e un filtro intense per cialde (ATTENZIONE da prova pratica funzionano per questo filtro speciale solo cialde da 7gr ESE 44mm). Non capisco ma è così... - La macchina impressiona per la sua robustezza facilità di tenuta con la mano e la qualità dei materiali con cui è prodotta... qualità davvero molto alta.Si capisce che il progetto è stato studiato nel particolare anche per quanto riguarda l'aspetto sicurezza. -AVVERTENZA: lA hANDPRESSO è UNA MACCHINA DA CAFFE' CHE SCALDA L'ACQUA A 100° E LA RILASCIA CON UNA PRESSIONE DA 16 BAR... QUINDI ATTENETEVI ALLE ISTRUZIONI E NON CERCATE DI SMONTARLA.... Tanto funziona state tranquilli. - Per prima cosa LEGGETE bene le istruzioni. sono chiare con tanto di disegni e spiegazioni, quindi se qualcosa non vi andrà...rileggete meglio prima di dire non funziona... -Fare il caffè (come avrete visto sui numerosissimi filmati youtube è davvero semplice... le cialde devono essere ESE da 4,4mm o. O così o non funziona... -Riempite il bicchierino con acqua minerale, fino alla tacca dei 50ml appoggiate la cialda con la linguetta piegata, chiudete con il Portafiltro PRESTANDO attenzione alle tacche bianche. Leggera pressione e tenendo la leggera pressione ruotate il Portafiltro fino a che una delle due tacche del portafiltro non collimerà con la tacca bianca della macchina, una stretta leggera e il gioco è fatto!! -Inserite lo spinotto nella presa da 12v auto, trasformatore... si illuminera il pulsante centrale della macchina e lo premerete una volta...la macchina per un paio di minuti farà un rumore come di macinatura (in totale (2+1) tre minuti di relax e attesa... nel frattempo vi godrete lo spettacolo di vedere il termometro della vostra Handpresso muoversi verso le alte temperature 90°... (d'altronde gustare il caffè è un piacere...). _Dicevo tre minuti e voilà 3 TRE bip vi avviseranno che la macchina è pronta. Per sicurezza staccate la presa accendisigari rovesciate la macchina a testa in giù nel bicchierino e premete il tasto caffè... sono 50ml d'acqua a seconda della cialda e della marca vi uscirà più o meno schiuma, la vostra auto sara inebriata dal profumo di caffè espresso che sarà prodotto durante la discesa del vostro CALDO, SCHIUMOSO, FUMANTE e PROFUMATO caffè nella vostra tazzina.... -Gustato, aprirete la macchina tenendola con il Portafiltro verso l'alto e getterete la cialda... (NON USATE BICCHIERINI DI PLASTICA GRAZIE). -Se dovete bere un secondo caffè i tempi si dimezzano poichè la macchina mantiene la caldaia calda per un certo tempo...( stassa procedura) non usate saponi per lavare il portafiltro.... acqua e null'altro. -PRO: -Handpresso vi permette di gustare il vostro caldo e fumante espresso dove vi pare da soli o in piacevole compagnia in zone senza caos e magari con un bel panorama davanti, per farlo funzionare in qualsiasi ambiente su Amazon esistono cavetti, powerbank, e trasformatori (meglio da 150) di ogni tipo.... -Meglio acquistare il set... costicchia forse un pò ma ne vale assolutamente la pena... avete tutto in ordine e la macchina alloggia in un suo spazio... -Caffè davvero buono se seguite le istruzioni...è una macchina precisa. -Con: -Forse il prezzo... ma la alta qualità si paga è una delle leggi del mercato degli accessori... Grande amatrice de café, j'ai pu tester cette machine dans la voiture d'une amie qui en a une depuis plusieurs années. J'ai adoré la simplicité d'usage et le fait d'avoir un vrai expresso durant le trajet. J'avoue que j'ai craqué pour ce modèle avec coffret et en ai profité pour faire mes cadeaux de Noël en achetant la version "pompe à vélo" pour mon fils qui est biker et la version dosette senseo pour mon beau-père qui déteste le café lyophilisé des stations services.

Really Cool Device! Makes good coffee/espresso. I like strong coffee, so I had a more tasteful experience with grinded coffee (tampering). But it's more practical/faster to use the E.S.E Pods (tried Illy Brand - Medium Toast). Both work great Tip: Don't tamper to much the coffee! sehr gute Maschine! excellenter Kaffegenuß überall mit dabei :) viele pads ausprobiert und mein liebling bisher ist "Castorino Forte" - sehr starkes und intensives geschmack, ich trinke es ohne milch und ohne zucker. meine Frau kann es gar nicht trinken und hat etwas mildes stattdessen gefunden. nach ca. 300 Tassen und ca. 3 Monaten in Verwendung war die Maschine defekt - aufgebaute Druck wurde nur kurz gespeichert, d.h. Kaffe musste sofort nach dem "piepsen" gegossen werden, sonst kam nichts mehr, da Druck sehr schnell entwichen ist. habe den Hersteller kontaktiert, Maschine nach Frankreich hingeschickt, nach 2 Wochen eine neue bekommen. seit letzter Woche genieße ich wieder meinen Kaffee :) bei der alten war angeblich die Elektronik kaputt (was ich nicht glaube). Ursache ist angeblich die Verwendung von zu viel Wasser: mehr als 50ml. das bezweifele ich, tue jetzt aber sicherheitshalber meine Esspressis mit nur 40ml Wasser zubereiten. Ah ja, der Motor(Pumpe) von der neuen Maschine ist etwas lauter und hat höhere Töne als bei der Alten. Hersteller hat auf Anfrage bestätigt, dass dies von Motor zu Motor unterschiedlich sein kann und kein Problem darstellt.

Yes I'm an addict. When coupled with the intense poetafilter it makes a perfect cup. ( I ordered the wrong intense poetafilter and had to unscrew the metal filter to swap them) also had to increase the fuse in my truck to Handle the 140 watts. I would recommend this to any coffee lover .
