These bags are a great value for my money. I can rely on them to hold up for small dogs and even my large German shepherd. What is best though is I know these bags are compostable and will break down in the environment!

We appreciate the dog paw pattern on the bag, which makes it easier to find the opening. The scent the bag has is subtle, which is more bearable for scent-sensitive dog walkers. The bags are large enough to fold over the top edge & use like a glove to pick up turds. We are happy with the attempt to make them environmentally friendly, also.

Grateful for true compostable bags. Found that I needed to bunch up at bottom where you tear and pull. If I pulled gently across tear spot, they got holes in them.

These are ASTM D6400 certified. Don't trust the video reviewers and don't trust me, do your research. ASTM D6400 means suitable for composting in a municipal or industrial facility. Don't think you can bury them in your back yard. However if you are throwing them in a city garbage can (including the one at your house) it's pretty likely going to be treated. At least I know in my town it is and I live in a relatively small town (although we do have multi story building technology and a theater...) I'm not exactly sure why you would add your dog waste to your compost you likely use in your vegetable garden anyway. Real life use by paying customer, not a sample reviewed by a person who reviews everything free they get from children's toys to cookware. These are thinner than your standard plastic pet bags. I have had zero issues with them ripping although because they are thinner the task of actually picking up the waste can be less pleasant (not saying it is pleasant with a plastic bag...) I have noticed some sight odor but it's so slight I'm not convinced it's not escaping the opening as I don't tie them until we are sure we are done... Also I would say the odor is present in maybe 5% of the uses. I find them to be easier to open than any other plastic bags I've used. Almost as if there is a fine powder but there isn't. Perhaps there is a very slight texture that just lets the air separate 2 surfaces better. I'm through about half the box (which doesn't take much time for me with three 50lb dogs who each walk every day... I've scored them pretty high, 5 in everything but value. I know there are cheaper also made from corn starch but I don't tend to mess with with something that's working. Saving 4 bucks or even 10 isn't worth discovering a bag that rips through at the wrong moment. I have the same level of confidence in these as regular plastic bags and have put them on auto delivery.

These compostable dog poop bags feel nice and thick, and they don’t rip or leak when picking up after my dog. I like that they’re easy to open and better for the environment than regular plastic bags.

They have a tag to help open the roll They are soft and scented. Each bag opens OK- with a black band to mark the opening side. They are a poo bag But as these go Not bad ones- at all
