Molly's Suds Original Laundry Detergent Powder 120 load, Natural Laundry Soap for Sensitive Skin

Edit: Absolutely no problems using this at all re people with allergies/skin allergies etc. Also re my * about residue on towels …. lol, I have a new washing machine & just sprinkle the stuff in mostly, with no problems. I do still mix it with regard to a delicate wash. I also have the Mollys Suds Whitener for soaking whites - excellent stuff & again, no allergic reactions, will say I’ve left things soaking far longer than it says on packet but sons white socks were amazing afterwards 🤣 Original review: Bought because a family member has developed a skin allergy ( both son and me are allergic to most detergents but can use Ecover with no problem); however bought this to test with another family member. So far so good - & neither son or me allergic to it either. It smells nice but does not leave clothes smelling of peppermint so good. It is initially expensive, but you don’t need much so that probably works out. Minor problems - the scoop was buried so far down in the packet, had to decant into another container to find it! Not all clothes can be washed on long warm/hot cycles as recommended. However, after a little research on their website, I mixed a scoop with hot water & put the dissolved mix in my detergent drawer & found that worked well even washing on delicate cycle and/or 30 degrees. It also then rinsed out well. *when sprinkling directly in machine for a towel wash, I found it had not completely rinsed out and spotted white residue. However, that was my first attempt using so now I just mix it first to be on safe side. Bit of a faff but worth it. Clothes and towels etc have all then come out clean and smelling fresh. So far I’ve not used it with anything heavily soiled so can’t comment - but, in a house full of allergic people, none of us have reacted to it! I’d probably prefer to see more info on the packet ie you can mix a scoop with hot water & add to drawer for a lower temp/delicate wash etc - but there is plenty of info on website. So overall, yeah I’d give it 5* and recommend.

Very good non-toxic product. I am so grateful for finding it. It washes very well my clothes, especially if I use a long washing cycle. I love the fact that it does not have a strong smell after use, my clothes just smell clean and fresh. I am on non-toxic journey and I am always looking for non-toxic products for my home. Definitely I will be buying this again, it is one of the best non-toxic laundry detergents I have found so far. My skin also agrees with it, I don't get any allergic reaction from using it. It is very concentrated, so the bag is quite small and easy to store! Good value for money. Great product!

Expensive+ cleans well

I was looking for an unscented washing powder with no optical brighteners. My toddler was getting eczema from the regular non-bio 'sensitive' powder. After switching to Molly's Suds, it mostly cleared up. So why only four stars? - It's expensive. We live in an area with hard water. One scoop is not enough. We have to use two, so it's twice as expensive. - It does nothing for grease stains. I have two small children, and their clothes are often covered in food stains. This detergent cleans the clothes, but leaves the grease stains. - More often than not, it's out of stock, so when it's in stock, I have to buy several packs. I don't really want to have to bulk-buy.

Safe ingredients, good for people with allergies or sensitivities to ingredients used in supermarket brands but it also cleans really well. I personally add a couple drops of lemon essential oil to mine to give clothes a nice smell. If this stopped being available I don't know what I'd do.

I love that is natural but unfortunately it didn't clean for me properly and it left some weird smell on the clothes after being washed and in the wardrobe

I’ve suffered from eczema all my life and trial and error of products is no joke. I found this online and I’ve been using it for months mixed with a Fairy softener. Safe to say it’s improved my skin a lot. The smell is minimal but if a softener is used it works wonders. Would highly recommend.

I feel this is a terrible detergent powder. Clothes were not cleaned. I thought to use it as my skin is very sensitive. But this one just doesn’t work. Luckily now many other high street brands does detergents for sensitive skin - I am using those right now. They are absolutely amazing and cheaper.

Nonostante la descrizione poco chiara o tradotta male, sono arrivati due pacchi di detersivo, versione neutra senza profumo da 120 lavaggi ciascuno, come da immagine prodotto. Offerta conveniente per un detersivo non sempre facile da trovare in Europa.

Ottimo per chi ha problemi con i saponi e le reazioni cutanee e a conti fatti conveniente perché se ne usa poco. Peccato sia spesso non disponibile.

I like using this detergent because it is supposed to be one with cleaner ingredients, and not so toxic. So far, I've had good luck with it. It seems to clean everything, no issues with it leaving any weird residue on clothes or the washer. It is scent free. One package has lasted a couple months and we do laundry almost everyday, so it's a good value for your money!
