FRIO Insulin Cooling Wallet (Duo, Purple)

I was a bit sceptical but this little product is so good and it works! I bought the blue one for myself and had to then buy the pink for my friend. Comes with clear instructions and it does keep my insulin pens cool for a few days, all it needs then is a little soak to reactivate it. Perfect for holiday whilst by the pool or out and about in the heat. Don’t delay, buy one.

1st class product does what it says on the tin

As I was off to sunny Turkey for my holiday and I had a two and a half hour coach trip from the airport to my hotel I was concerned that my medicine would not stay cool and would have to be thrown away. However, I need not have worried as the Frio cool wallet did exactly what it said on the packaging and kept it cool for the entire trip. Upon arrival at the hotel I was then able to place my medicine in the fridge and allow the cool wallet to dry out ready for me to use for the journey home. This is so easy and simple to use very practical and no problems declaring it to the airport security in my hand luggage. Definitely recommend this product. You can use it over and over again providing you follow the instructions which are very easy.

to replace former Frio injection pen wallet now passed its best. I thought this is supposed to be for two pens but I find it somewhat difficult to either insert or get them out when the wallet is engorged with the water necessary for the evaporation process. Otherwise it is a great product and works perfectly with just one penject. can recommend for its cooling effect - my former one has lasted more than 12 years.

This arrived 2 days early and it seems to work very well. I soaked the crystals and then put in the insulin pens and they have so far stayed cool. Hopefully this will help to ensure insulin stays cool all day. Thank you

This is my 3rd pack in 6 years, the crystals don’t last forever and go a bit crunchy at the end of their life! BUT these do exactly what they are described as and keep my Insulin at a proper temperature especially in the summer!! Highly recommend and especially when travelling, so convenient.

This is one of those Amazon items that makes me question reviews. It keeps pens maybe 10 degrees below ambient for about 8-10 hours. Nothing near the manufacturers claims. Very disappointed.

Lässt die Kühlung nach, den Innenbeutel kurz mit kaltem Wasser füllen und ca. 2 Minuten warten. Das Wasser wird vollständig vom Material im Innenbeutel aufgenommen, der Innenbeutel wird dabei wieder prall und fest. Die Feuchtigkeit dringt nicht vom Innenbeutel durch den Aussenbeutel. Vor allem benötigt man kein Eisfach, keine Extrakühlpacks, die maximal 6-8 Stunden kühlen, keinen Strom! Keine Gefahr, dass das Insulin durch die Kühlpacks gefriert. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für die Frio Insulin Kühltasche - Tasche ist deshalb für mich akzeptabel.Ein Tipp noch für die Hersteller: Ein kleines verschließbares Täschchen für die Nadeln eines Tagesbedarfs z. B. für unterwegs wäre hilfreich, dann benötigt man nicht noch einen Extrabehälter dafür.
