Works and is easy to use.
Works fine, goes on easy and dries quickly. Used about half this can to do 3 coats on a 2mtr x 0.6mtr board 3 times on both sides.

Great product
Probably the easiest primer to apply. Very watery which is easy for MDF surfaces

Works well
I do tend to look for Ruskins with paint and the like, so I went for this when buying a new work bench with an MDF top (unfinished).Easy to apply, dries quickly so 3 coats didn’t take long and I have plenty left for my next task. Generally quite pleased with the results as it gives a good finish but I’ve found that water based things do still soak through so, obviously, 3 coats is not enough for unfinished MDF. When I have a moment, I’ll add another couple of coats.

Good mdf sealer
Used this product for mdf panelling to seal for painting. its a good product to use and is effective as a primer coat prior to painting. Size of the tin was just right for the job, easy to clean brushes .

Chicken coop sealed
Used this product to seal the cracks and crevices in my chicken coop. It is low odour, enhances the wood and looks like it will be excellent weather protection. I little bit thin but you can build up the layers. Dries quickly.

Very good, goes a long and dries quickly
Very good, dries quickly.

It would be perfect for some jobs where a very high quality finish ...
Product is OK if you are not looking to paint the MDF to a mirror finish afterwards. The sealer is waterbased so although it does dry quite quickly, it still causes the fibres to swell slightly and leaves a slightly uneven textured finish. It would be perfect for some jobs where a very high quality finish is not required but if it is, I have had much better experience using shellac instead of this product as it dries far quicker and causes no swelling of the fibres, even on the edges.

Impressive
Impressive finish, but best result is giving cupboard doors two coats after removal of vinyl wrap. Easy to clean brushes with just water. Great value and goes a long way.

Good Sealant for Particle Board or MDF
I got this to seal a particle board cabinet. It is very low-fume but does require ventilation. I couldn't smell it at all. It seemed to work well. Only 2 hours drying time. However, it's supposed to be clear, but is actually a light brown when dry. For a thin coat, this will probably not present a problem. It may be darker with extra coats.

I gave this sealer a try
I bought this sealer to treat the edges of a cabinet that I purchased from Amazon. I didn't know upon purchase until I received it that the cabinet was made of MDF. The problem with MDF is that if it gets any kind of moisture the glues/binders they use to compress the material together will come apart. You have to make sure it is sealed up against moisture very well or you are just asking for failure. That is why I thought to try this product I came across on Amazon. The sealer seemed to be fine and applied well. Time will tell how long it holds up. Anyhow, I only gave it three stars because it looked as though this can had been on the shelf for quite a while. It was starting to rust on the outside and the lid was partially popped open. The good part was the sealer inside looked to be fine, it did not leak, and it was not dried out at all.
