Many mallets have a seam, but this one is completely smooth silicone, so there is very little chatter when using it on crystal bowls. At first, I thought it was going to be too small, but it is the perfect size for my bowls.

Buy other brand‘s product. Sounds not good on my bowl.

The silicone isn't as smooth as I'd hoped and gives a scraping sound on the bowl. It does offer a higher vibration sound, yet I had hoped it would be smooth.

The silicone on the *clear silicone mallet* is too hard which makes me have to work harder to get tone to swell which create unstable bowls and abrupt endings to the sound. Do not recommend.
