Is this suitable for box canvas and large canvas sizes?

This depends upon what you determine as 'box' and 'large' , In general I rate this easel quite highly . It accepts my 50cm by 40cm quite happily and remains stable , any larger might make it less so for working on but could be used just for display by those some 20% larger. You could probably get a 30mm box frame on it for work .

I have mine permanently set fairly high so I can stand and paint, plus i think the front legs are sturdier at that height, it takes a 56cm high board. It can be set lower so you could maybe add 20cm to that. Not sure how sturdy the front legs would be at that height though. (The lower the board support the narrower the legs become). Hope this helps.

Can it be used for wedding seating plan?
