Used to mitre 170mm wide pine skirting board I did not find this mitre box as easy to use as the two narrower ones I have previously used, and on every cut there was plastic as well as sawdust so I was obviously cutting the box as well as the wood and I could not seem to avoid this?However it did not seem to make any difference to the mitres, they came out clean and fit together fine so it did the job I purchased it for.It would have been advantateous for there to be holes and plugs as there is with my other mitre boxes to hold the wood in place whilst I cut, made the job a whole lot harder having to hold the wood still and cut at the same time.All in all it does the job but could be improved.

Fantastic size and easy to use, 45°/ 60° & 90° all in one place, it's made from thick rigid plastic and works very well. I think it is good value for money

This is very wide but very shallow - in the description it looks like its deep - i purchased to joint 14cm skirting boards and it no good, I think it would cut maybe 6 to 8cm max

I cannot saw straight I have tried but I am rubbish doing it so when I saw this and how wide it was I had to try this out. I am so pleased with this as I have just managed to put up cladding in my kitchen and each piece has been sawn straight. The best thing I also liked about this Mitre box is how safe it is to saw as everything is contained inside the box so there is no danger of the saw slipping. Highly recommended

Didn't last 5 mins before breaking

This mitre box is light and easy to use. There is a 60 degree angle, and 45 degree angle slots available so when cutting ensure you're using the correct angle. The more you use the mitre box, the more you chomp away at the plastic which is avoidable by observing the cut as you saw through. Paying attention to this will certainly increase the life span of the mitre box.Seeing I was cutting 14.5cm thickness skirting boards, I placed two 15mm off-cuts to jam in the skirting board so there was little movement when cutting away. Clamps were also attached on the skirting board and garden table to minimize movement also. Overall, impressed with the mitre and would recommend it for the average DIY enthusiast without buying an expensive mains type

This mitre box is of a decent build quality for the price. However there are no grooves in the bottom for the different angle cuts which means you will eventually saw into the plastic. I find this unacceptable for Draper

ist in sehr preiswertes Produkt , trotzdem sehr stabil . andere sind um einiges teuerer . ob das auch was für einen Handwerkerprofi ist , kann ich nicht beurteilen .

This is exactly what I was looking for to cut my 5 1/2" base molding. It is very sturdy and will be a great tool to have.
