best lettuce spinner, okay it's a little on the big side but that means it fits a full sized lettuce it's a solid construction and takes very little effort to use. it spins at a good speed and the silicone base keeps it in place on the counter. I would highly recommend, i use the bowl for mixing sourdough etc outside of it being a salad spinner it's an all around great product.

I love this! After reading the reviews I ordered this wondering why anyone would spend this much on a salad spinner but when it arrived I understood and recommend it wholeheartedly. A very attractive steel bowl that would grace any table, a strong plastic basket for washing salad etc and a well fitting lid with a thorough and easy to use spinning action. No more clinging on to a spinner that shoots across the worktop, push down and leave, it stays put. Comes apart very easily and washes in the top of the dishwasher. It's a great size for a family and as I live alone I wondered if I should have bought the smaller one but I am so glad I went for this one it is so useful. Spinach may cook down to almost nothing but I can get an entire large bag into the basket for thorough washing and drying. Excellent!

Very nice product but it’s massive! I didn’t realise what a pain it would be to store it. Also I didn’t love the design because it had a curve inside which annoyed me.I ended up returning it and getting the smaller plastic version which I love. If I have a large amount of leaves to wash I just do it twice

As another reviewer says, I wondered how anyone could spend this amount on a salad spinner - now I know why! It is a work of art, and the very best salad spinner I have ever had. Very robust and durable, high quality workmanship, and astonishingly effective - works like a dream. The brake and spinning mechanism is excellent. Even better, the salad can be stored inside the basket in the spinner with the top pushed down and locked and kept in the fridge - this way the salad stays fresh far longer as the air circulates around the basket. Be aware that it is MUCH bigger than I expected, so you need a deep shelf in the fridge. HIGHLY recommend this effective, elegant, quality salad spinner!

Whilst pricy (I bought the large stainless steel) and I ummed and ahhhed over it. I’m very pleased. A salad spinner is a nice to have after all kitchen roll (then into composter) is fine. But I’ve started consecutive growing lettuce, ricket, spinach, baby leave kale in my back garden (in pots) and I love harvesting daily. The salad spinner makes life even lovelier that a can spin and metal bowl as a conductor of chill keeps it fresh in the fridge. I’m eating fresh leaf day and I’m not sure why bu5 it tastes of childhood. Proper leaf!! I must have become taste immune and eaten that gawd awful packet stuff for too long. It’s a robust bit of kit and you need space I love it and wish I had bought it sooner. I only got it because I started growing fresh (which is crazy easy) on my patio. Very happy.

I purchased this spinner because it was steel rather than plastic and I liked the look of it. I also hoped it would be efficient and practical. It is. It's beautiful, but it also works well. It has a heavy bottom which makes it easy to use and does not slip, like some of it's cheaper cousins. The pump action is brilliant. And washed lettuce left in it keeps beautiful crisp and fresh. I love it and would buy it again

I primarily purchased this product as I was looking for a non-plastic option, and they were few and far between. Pros: good capacity and the locking lid feature is helpful if you want to store produce in the fridge without using another bowl/container. The stainless steel is robust and looks very stylish.Cons: It is massive! If you do want to put it in the fridge, you need the best part of half an entire shelf for it. The biggest downside though is that with even a very small batch of produce inside (lettuce) it took even longer to dry than a bog-standard cheap plastic version. I know that there is going to be a big price difference when looking for a non-plastic option but the fact that its functionality is actually worse means that for me it was really not worth the price.
